Hey everyone! It's been quite some time since I made a blog for story updates
It's been even longer since I did anything with my one good story, Setting Sun. Back in January, I promised a sequel to this tragic little tale and I"m here to tell you... it's not happening...
Wait! Don't hit that back button quite yet. There will be no true sequel to Setting Sun, but there will be at least one prequel/companion story to it. That is what I would like to announce today.
I present to you... Dearest Sister.
I will not be announcing an ETA until I am absolutely certain that it will be completed on time. I can tell you all that it will be written in letter format, just as Setting Sun was. This will be the second, but not necessarily last, story of what I have come to call my "Celestial Saga". All stories involved with the saga will be in either Celestia or Luna's point of view, and most likely in first person format. All of them will also fit into the sad/tragedy genre.
I'm currently working on several other stories (Luna knows when or if I'll actually publish them), so I am unsure of when I'll actually publish this. But I promise that this story is a high priority.
Oh, and Tidal. I'll be expecting a thorough review once I finish this story. I rather liked the one you wrote for Setting Sun, and I'd like to hear your input on this

As for giving you an early look; how about you be my pre-reader? I'll send you a link to the story, you read it and tell me what you think. And on your go ahead, I'll publish it
Also: This isn't going to be a one-shot like it's predecessor. I'm currently aiming for ten chapters, each ending at around 1,200-1,500 words. However, the more I think about it, the more I wonder if I shouldn't make it even longer. Maybe fifteen to twenty chapters... Regardless -- I'll cross that bridge when I come to it -- I plan to begin work on this story tonight or tomorrow morning before work
Expect the first chapter within a week from today
Don't hold me to that. School and work have been a bitch, so I may be getting overly optimistic.
