I might make a Patreon page for my stories, so that way I can say that I have a job, it'll look good for College, and it'll also help me afford to make these stories, and hopefully so I can pay for art for my stories.
The account's name will be the same for everything I have: Dragonman461. I will request that I could be paid for each chapter I upload, or if you all think this is a terrible idea and I'd be wasting my time, please tell me so below. If anyone thinks I should go through with this, and you'd be willing to donate, please say so in the comments. Oop, I gotta go, I've got Calculus for 3rd period, adios!
Hmm, this is the second time this month I've heard of Patreon. It isn't a bad idea really, at the very least it'll get you to create more chapters and stories. I wouldn't mind throwing a dollar your way. Maybe you could do something special with that dollar.
I mean, the basic concept is that we pay you to create content, and if you don't create content, you don't get the money. It's not too different if we got a real book from a local story.
Like I said, though, I'll throw a little bit of cash your way. Provided you keep typing of course.

Having a Patreon does not mean you have a job. How did you even consider that connection? Having a job = finding a company to work for, running a summer lawn mowing and care service in the neighborhood, et cetera. Patreon is none of those, it is simply another name for a donation, except it is by month or by 'work' done.
And god, do I fucking hate seeing fan fiction writers pick them up. Blech.

Ah, I see. I saw your blog staring me in the face when I looked at your profile, and the whole 'pay me for writing fanfiction' bit kinda annoys me, so dropped a comment. Since it sounds like you're a high school student, your best bet is a retail store for a job, or fast food. Really, if you're looking for a job and cash, any job you can find, really.
