I like the voices for FS and Twi, but the rest sound like dudes.
Interesting, but whoever is narrating needs to seriously re-do their recording. There's so much noise going on behind him. It sounds like he's got either a whole bunch of electronics going on or has every light in the room on. Recordings actually pick up a sound from light very well so I'd highly suggest to him that he turn them off.

Seems like it could be funny, although based on what I'm seeing here I think I'll get pissed off at the AJ jokes. Surprising the typical AJ jokes upset me more than typical Australian jokes, I guess maybe cause Australian at least have some basis in fact like when people make an 'Australia is a dangerous place to live' joke, I'm fine because there is a lot of crazy stuff down here, but a typical AJ joke has nothing to be based upon, it's just an annoying thing that spread.
But like I said other then the annoying AJ jokes, seems cool. When will it actually be out?

And as for Rarity, we just wanted to give her an accent, that is close to British, but not. As for when will it be out? Who knows, we're working on it!

2458705 Ugh don't even get me started on that background pony bullshit, Applejack's the only one that develops character (other than Twilight of course), the rest are still: Rainbow 'Douchebag' Dash, Pinkie 'Comic Relief' Pie, Flutteryshy 'Scaredy cat (no last name), and Rarity 'Sparkly thing' Belle (speculated last name).
Pardon AJ for doing a lot more in a shorter amount of time

2458723 WOAH! OKAY! WE HAVE DIFFERENT APPLEJACK VIEWS! Honestly, AJ is equal to Fluttershy in lack of development. They're both dull, and never progress as characters. Unlike Rainbow Dash and Twilight, who have had the most development in the entire show. Rarity has at least gotten better and much more interesting over time. AJ has been the same since season 1, just boring, honestly, she's only good in her own episodes, which is like what? 3? Fluttershy is only good for one liners and as a supporting character. Sure, AJ has potential, but it isn't used. I'm sorry, but she is easily the closest pony out of the mane 6 to be a background pony.
2458805 How has Rainbow Dash progressed she's still an egotistical dick, in fact as things go on I find myself liking her less and less, don't get me wrong she still ok, but from what I've heard of the movie (I haven't heard the music and such but a friend told me about) and she still seems the same even going so far as to have a song dedicated to her ego, if this turns out to be true I think that'll be it for Dash, she's a annoyance, she doesn't progress, and she's a terrible friend. And you know how in season 4 when all the mane 6 have a test of their element? Well Dash was the only one who essentially failed hers, where the others came to their conclusions on their own Dash had to be told by Twilight to do something, Dash is bad even at the thing she's naturally good at.
Applejack's the only one who takes lessons to heart, since the beginning she learnt to work less (whilst still being a hard worker, in fact the only mane 6 member who does work, I know Pinkie Pie helps at Sugarcube Corner, but if she has enough time to fuck around and party almost all the time, she's not a hard worker), she's also learnt to accept her failures (a lesson I hope hits Dash like a shovel with spikes on it), not to mention she's clearly the second in command of the group, she constantly takes charge, and I don't mean takes charge like Dash where she runs in like a 'tard and makes things worse, I mean she actually thinks and takes charge of a situation.
How has Rarity become more interesting? She's still just Dress + Pretty = yay, she's probably the most repetitive, at least we get the occasional laugh when she's overly dramatic, but other than those 2 seconds every now and then, she's not interesting

Just saying, Fim, but you cannot hold EG Dash against E Dash as a character, because they have not gone through the same lessons.
Character development is not how useful the char is, but the changes they go through. As far as that goes, AJ learned to accept help in Applebuckin season, and accepted help in superspeedycidersqueezy, so that gets a pass, but the rest? Already part of her character.
2458961 EG Dash may not be exactly the same, but it's still the same egotistical bullshit she been spewing out for four years. Trixie's developed more as a character in two episodes than Dash has in 4 seasons.
See, all that means is she was the best character to begin with AND she's had the best character development. AJ is best from every angle

- developed a much more supportive character compared to when she was trying to ditch the slowest member of their group in dragonshy, as demonstrated in hurricane fluttershy, and the equestria games episodes (where she is supportive of weak flyers even though she wants to win, and does not lose patience with them)
- reigned in her ego enough that she is not constantly in need of the spotlight, and even capable of sharing, or even redirecting that spotlight to ponies she feels should be in it.
- learned to value(or at least balance better) safety over awesome, a difference most clear when lightning dust is basicly a recolored season 1 Rainbow Dash
Sure, Dash stumbles on occasion, but that is realistic.
Just a little example of the character development Dash has had.
Really, I am looking forward to EG Dash egotripping, because just maybe, this will be her mysteriousmaredowell moment, and it wont be handled horribly

I don't think learned to like one specific book series counts as much of a development it's like 'oh hey I watch doctor who, l'm a sci-fi fan now!' No, just no.
She takes care for Tank the same way she takes care for Scootaloo, not at all. It's a good thing Tank's a turtle because if he was actually something that required a lot of attention, it would be dead.
She doesn't care for slower flyers she's just less aggressive, more passive-aggressive.
She's still very egotistical and she doesn't really value safety over awesomeness, she would just rather ponies not die *slow clap*
I'm not saying she can't stumble, in fact that would be more interesting then being perfect, but she doesn't learn shit.
Well I'm not looking forward to the egotrip, it's not gonna be mare do well, it's gonna be like ever other Dash moment. Maybe other people (in the movie) will think it sucks, then I'll at least be able to laugh at the scene.

Nah, Dash was sufficiently harsh to Fluttershy that I would be shocked if she does not learn a lesson here. However, thinking about it, it does feel more like the setup for a Dragonshy episode on earth:
Dash dismisses Fluttershy's effort, at the end they use Fluttershy's song to save the day. Dash realizes Fluttershy is useful. Something like that.
2459010 there doesn't have to be a scene of mistreatment, there's just the fact she's never with Tank and we know she spends most of her time bumming around or sleeping, so she can't care that much.
Her opinion on death hasn't changed, the only way you could count that as character progression is if she was actively killing ponies in season 1.
Look, the movie is not going to be a big learning experience nor an equivalent of an episode, maybe there'll be a sub plot where Dash learns not to be a complete dick to a friends (a lesson someone really shouldn't need to learn)
I'm willing to meet you part way and say Dash has developed a little, but just not as other mane 6 character (or even certain side characters). All they've done to Dash is polish a turd, when she starts becoming a pony worthy of the mane 6's friendship, I'll like her again. Not that I don't still like her a bit, I just don't like her nearly as much as I used to.

However, I don't think its fair to say someone shouldn't have to learn it. Dash is obviously not malicous, but simply unaware of the effect of her own actions on others, because she's focused on herself. It's her character flaw that E Dash has been learning to deal with, and EQ Dash seemingly has not been aware of yet.
