A week ago, I and one of my spouses got severe food poisoning from a local Taco Time. I am gradually recovering on my own, but my spouse ended up with a very rare condition called Acute Esophageal Necrosis. Basically the inner esophagus dies and gets puked and shat out. It is beyond nightmare horrible. It is often fatal.
Long story short, she lived, and is currently regenerating (like a Time Lord!) a new esophageal tract, which is what happens for survivors. This is so freaking rare that she is likely patient number 89 since the condition was first identified. FUUUUUUU....
Anyway, everything looks like it's all survival and happy times right now, although I am still a little derpy from being so sick.
I am trying to get back to writing again, but I am a little slow in the brain.
That's the scoop.

...Good grief. That "glad you're still alive" comment went to the wrong pony, it seems! Yikes, it's things like this that remind me how glad I am to live in Europe which actually has, you know, food safety bureaus that mostly work. Come back to us, Chatoyance and spouses! On two legs or four hooves, we don't mind!

Frankly, I'm much happier to know that your spouse is alive and well than you writing more, but that's nice too.
