So... Wow...
Feature box...
▶That just happened.
So I first have to say thank you to everybody who liked "One in the Same".
Thank you!
I honestly didn't expect that. I'm more then amazed. In just over a day and a half "One in the Same" as already has more views, likes, dislikes, comments, and favorites than "Duplicity". I actually sit here asking myself "Is it actually better or do you guys just like the Vinyl/Octavia over Lyra?" I'd personally say the latter. I just don't know. It's kind of surreal to see a story which has had less work done to it surpass the one which has had more work and time put into it.
Anyway to address a few things.
1) Is/How is this complete?
A) As for now it is. The reason being I only intended it to be a short one-off. The idea came from the comic strip "The same pony". It bounced around in my head for a good month before I even did anything with it.
2) Will there be a sequel?
A) Ad of right now, no. Maybe at one point I will come back and expand on this but not right now.
3) How is this a dark tag?
A) It is just the best tag that this site has that I think fits. To quote myself from the comments:
Looking at the tags on for the site:
Romance - Not really. Sad - I don't think so. Comedy - Nope, unless you find Multiple Personality Disorder funny. Crossover - I don't see with what. Slice of life - Maybe but it doesn't seem like that to me. Human - I don't see any. Tragedy - Again, I don't think so. Dark - Best that seems to fit. Random - I always took this to be a type of comedy tag. Adventure - Again, Not really. Alternate Universe - Tagged it that for the fact they have cell phones. Anthro - They seem horse like to me.
4) Why is it "One in the Same" and not "One and the Same"?
A)
one in the same sort of makes sense—if we imagine something being inside the same thing as itself
5) Am I done with "Duplicity"
A) No, I have the basic layout of that story done. Two things have pause me working on it for now. First, the summer is a very hectic time at work for me. Second, My main, and only, proofreader/editor's computer has been dead for the better part of six months. I am not going to post any part of that story un-edited.
6) Is anybody actually going to read this blog post?
A) Probably not.
Again thank you all!
Interesting to be sure, not doubt about that as far as I'm concerned. :)
Behold! Somone has read this blog post!
I read your blog post (actually, correct that to we).
