    More delays I know :(

Yeah, I know, no updates in too long of a time :/ . It's that unique mix of doing longer shifts at work, getting ready for the wedding, and slacking on my part. Every time I sit down to write and am like "today I will finish this chapter" I very quickly go "(yawn) nope time for a nap".

THE DELAY IS BECAUSE OF GOOD NEWS THIS TIME

Okay, everyone, get this! I haven't done any writing for the past little bit, and I am not sorry, because MY BOYFRIEND PROPOSED!!!!!!!! I'M GETTING MARRIED!!! I can not believe it, but it is happening!

So yeah, you guys can wait another week right :yay::heart::yay::heart::yay::heart::yay::heart::yay::heart:

    Welp, my hard drive crashed.

Which means one of two things. One, that the chapter I wrote is recoverable and it'll be a bit late, or two, that it's gone for good and I have to rewrite it, and it will be slightly more than a bit late. Either way, it'll be a delay. Thank god my boyfriend is a computer nerd; he figures he can fix it pretty darned quick.

I am SO sorry about the delay.

First off, no I'm not dead lol. Remember when I said I'd be back early January? Well, I ended up staying home much longer because one of my courses was delayed. That being said, I've just gotten back and have yet to do any writing at all because I'm lazy and out of the groove, but that will change!

    The story so far...

So if I had to guess, I'd say the story is roughly past the two-third point, and I was just curious about which characters you guys think are good, evil, sympathetic, irredeemable, etc. What I've loved more than anything else about writing this story is hearing how people see various characters, and even though I'm absolutely terrible at replying to comments (I just never know what to say)

Just Curious... · 4:58am Aug 22nd, 2014

Have any of you played a game called Five Nights At Freddy's? My boyfriend gave me a copy and was just like "Play it it's fun". So I played it and it scared the living you-know-what out of me. It is seriously one of the scariest things I've ever seen, and I'm hooked on it.

So yeah, long story short, this game's the reason I slacked off writing and now can't upload until Saturday. *Shrugs*

Here's the game, though just watching it doesn't do it any justice. It's well worth buying and experiencing for yourself:

I have the demo on my gaming computer and I want to buy the full version on Steam. The only problem is I am actually afraid to play this game, and this is coming from a guy who has played Amnesia (and multiple Custom Stories), Outlast, its Whistleblower DLC, and selected Slender games. I survived the first night in the demo, but when Bonnie and Chica moved out almost immediately the next night, I chickened out because I couldn't find them and I still had to worry about Foxy. It's the only horror game that has managed to scare me so much that I stopped playing for the night.

I did in fact play the game and I'm ashamed to say that I was hiding halfway under my desk after about five minutes.

My boyfriend

Oh... I always thought your were dude, guess not.

And I yes I have played the game, but I do notice that everyone that has played it seem to be having heart attacks, but the only time I got scared in the game was during a few occasions, like The Duck jump scaring me after breaking the door right after I put down the tablet, Foxy bum rushing me for the first 3 times before it got annoying and the fifth and sixth night, either I'm really hard to scare or just VERY lucky

It had a few jumpscares, and the first time the fox came i nearly shat a brick, but otherwise it wasn't overly scary; it would have been awesome if the game had had a higher budget or whatever, and some screams or some video feed of the animatronic animals pulling you to your doom or something would have been awesome.

Another game you should try would be The Forest, it's about 'you' surviving a plane crash and having to survive while there are cannibalistic mutants out to eat you, it's terrifying :pinkiehappy:

What made it so scary for me is it's just like the lowest common denominator of fear: it's you, trapped in a dark place, completely defenseless with no escape, and basically just trying to hide from things that will kill you any chance they get. And then come the jump scares...
I'll have to give The Forest a try. I watched part 1 of a walkthrough on youtube and it seemed pretty cool.

Most people do think I'm a dude. I just have manerrisms.
One trick I've found is, when they jam the doors it doesn't seem like they'll attack unless you put the tablet up and then down. So what I've done when it happens is hold out as long as I can with just using the one working light, and then at around 5 or so throw up the tablet and just camp with it up until 6 since they can't attack until you put it back down. It's the only way I can beat day 4 (and I still can't beat day 5)

Same. I didn't know what to expect either and my boyfriend was just giggling like a complete goof everytime one of those things would leap out and I'd shriek.

The trick with Foxy is to not worry about him too much. Apparently if you check him too often or just check his camera feed it will make him come out a lot faster. I've found checking him maybe once or twice an hour keeps him away.
