I KNOW WHAT TO DO NOW · 8:09pm Aug 11th, 2014

I've been having trouble writing Star Horse. Part of the problem is that, because of the way Episode IV is already written, I find it kinda difficult to weave in all the nuances of the brilliant background plot I've devised to set it apart from the original movies. Another problem is that I decided to begin from scratch.

The biggest problem is that I am really frickin' lazy.

BUT! I FOUND A BRILLIANT SOLUTION!

I will listen to this repeatedly until I have completely finished A New Hope. I am a genius!

Do you guys have any other good inspirational music I can write horse words to?

I write to music all the time :D And I have a specific song for every type of scene :D

When I write sad scenes I listen to this

Dark scenes I listen to this

Happy scenes I listen to this

And from there the list goes on and on... really I have about 20 or so pony songs that I switch between when I write stories :D

Thanks for the suggestions! I hope they inspire me further.:pinkiehappy:

When I was attending Job Corps, I befriended a man who was constantly told by other people that his face was very horse-like. He was initially offended by such things, but through discussion with me, he learned how silly it was to let such things get under his skin. He began to embrace his title, telling people he had a large penis as a benefit, pretending to snort and prance around if anyone thought they had him irritated, and basically just embracing the thing that initially had bothered him greatly. They eventually gave up, seeing as it no longer worked, but I never really let his legend disappear from the center.

Why am I telling you this? Because I got to name his WiFi, and I decided to call it Star Horse. He was using it primarily to play EVE Online, and he was known as the horse guy, so... bam, combo.

Hopefully that will get you some inspiration. :raritywink:

An odd, but interesting story. I shall remember it well!
Have you checked out the story, by the way?

I, uh...
*takes the money and runs*
I'll check it out next work week if I remember to. I do awfully little stuff on FIMFiction while I'm at home. Maybe check my notifications and feed once a day.

Ok. It's been the same for a while now...I'm working on rewriting the first chapter, The Imperial Chase, right now. Hopefully I'll have that chapter done sometime resembling soon. :twilightblush:

Also, thanks for favoriting it.

How will I remember to read it if I don't favorite it? :raritywink:

Here's something for grandiosity, reverence, introspection, and general neatness:

Here's something for soul-crushing misery with an oppressive air:

Here's something for pure joy:

Here's something for absolute sadness and despair:

Here's something for apeshit rage and psychosis:

I actually got a lot more of this stuff than this. I hope this helped, dude.

Thanks a bushel for the help, Mr. Hross. :raritywink:

I'm the same way you are with writing. I use a leitmotif established by a musical composition to set the theme of each chapter I write. And you're very welcome. Let me know, if you need anything else. It's no trouble at all.
