Dear Princess Celestia, after seeing your reaction to the notes I took while inside Princess Luna's dark realm. I took the liberty to rewrite this to be a little more accurate and truthful to the reality of the situation. I hope this more positive letter finds you and will remind you that while Nightmare Moon and your sister might have shared a body, their are some very clear differences between the two. Name: Nightmare Moon Princess Luna
Nicknames: Nightmare Moon; The Mare in the Moon; The Dark Alicorn; Self proclaimed One True Queen of Equestria; Mother of Eternal Night.
Age: Approx 1000* Over 3000 years of history is recorded about the Two Princesses, though its true I've yet to find their Origin story*
Birthday: Unknown. Many consider it to be Nightmare Night since the Holiday is Celebrated to remember her Defeat. October 31st; Nightmare Night**
Clan: Alicorn
Height: 7'2"
Weight: Approx 220 lbs 211 lbs
Hair: A massive Ethereal Mane that, Like Celestia's own. A Deep and Purple-blue hue, in its own darkness there are tiny silver lights, akin to the night sky itself. A noble royal blue mane that flows like Princess Celestia's own. The dance of stars can be seen in its depths.
Eyes: Cat's Eye pupil with iris of Moderate Cyan.
Cutiemark: A Blue Crescent Moon against deep Purple Background.** A white Crescent Moon against a deep royal blue background of the night sky.

Occupation: No records remain of her being anything but a violent force of darkness. Wannabe Queen of Equestria is the only title she has ever earned. Beloved Princess of the Night; Protector of Dreams; Guardian against what goes Bump in the Night.***
Scars or accessories? The records give no signs of her ever having any scars, and in my own experience I never saw any. A detailed description of her arm and jewelry would be extensive so I will summarize them instead. A breastplate of unknown purple steel, unrelenting to even my own strongest magics. Matching gauntlet's, a tiara that is built to lay around her grand horn. Simple Tiara and tall leg grasping heels of dark royal blue. A simple flowing robe of matching hues. And a soft smile. Scars we need not speak of for she has earned them and we can but try to help her overcome their pain.
Close relationships: None known. She wields enough Power to frighten even Princess Celestia; and she banished Princess Luna to this shadow realm I am trapped in. Princess Celestia, her dearest sister. Princess Cadence, a great niece****. Dusk Shine, a friend who helped her drive off the shadow's that had overwhelmed her.
Personality: Hateful and spiteful of everything Princess Celestia and Princess Luna has made she appears to have no single show of any positive emotion.*** Currently? Quiet shy and ashamed, yet happy to talk to any with the courage to speak to her. Historically she was a bold woman according to the texts, with a cheerful personality always ready to help a lost mind wandering at night.*****
Skills and Quirks:
Alicorn Magic – All records show her surpassing any other magic but The Elements of Harmony. I can account to her being able to cast and control a dozen spells simultaneously better then I can manage one spell alone. Little needs to be said about the near depthless well that is Alicorn Magic. It's a pleasure to see it being put once more to good use.
Presence – The raw power she possesses is shown in almost every action she takes throwing waves of magic behind her will and motions to the point she can flick arrows and even magic out of the air so easily. It's not known if this is something all Alicorn's can do for Princess Celestia, Luna and Cadence have never shown this though that may be due to Nightmare Moon being the only one to display such rage.
Warden of Dreams – What can be said that such a title doesn't already imply. The kindly Princess Luna spends her nights awake as we all sleep, fending off Nightmare's for the sake of all of Equestria's peace of mind.
Strength – I have seen her kick hard enough to shatter the armor of one of Princess Celestia's royal guard with a single blow. Not even the strongest of Earth Stallions have been recorded to manage such a shattering blow.
Vitality – It is unknown if she has any limit to her Vitality, she has never been seen to sleep, to need to catch her breath or to bleed, save the one time I cracked her odd purple breastplate. However even then she simply reformed from a shadow, the armor somehow once more magically intact.
* - Undocumented before the disappearance of Princess Luna; This makes her approximately one thousand years old though being able to stand up to Princess Celestia in open combat, she is likely far older. Hint hint hint Princess Celestia? Please? Just tell me the book, I wont share it with anyone if you think its too private a story.
** - Records make this very similar to Princess Luna's Cutiemark. The horror of such a monster trying to copy something so dear and personal, I can only imagination what must have gone though The Princesses heart and mind upon seeing that. How much did it hurt to turn your own sister's birthday into a festival to keep hope alive while Nightmare Moon stalked the world. More then I could ever manage dear Princess...
*** - A study of her odd nature to tease and torment us as we hunted for the Element's of Harmony will be on the top of my list should I ever escape these endless shadows. It could greatly assist us in learning more about were she came from and what her real goals are.This is just a short list of the titles and duties I found listed as things Princess Luna handled back in the old days. Maybe she can take some of these over soon and give you proper time to rest once more? It's no wonder you never had more then a few minutes per day to spend at the school. It's an honor to think you took so much time for me alone... and caring for so many extra duties with her banished.
**** - As in niece removed by several generations, though I'm sure she also makes for a good niece as well, based on how much the two talked today.
***** - This is a typo in the old books I'd guess? Princess Luna is said to come to the aid of any attacked by a monster or Nightmare in the night in most other books, but one says she guards wandering minds in sleep...
I love how this profile is a scratched out version of the NM profile, as it gives a feel that Dusk Shine did modify the profile he write originally.

Kind of surprised you ignored bust size. Or is that more of a character thing, since Dusk Shine probably wouldn't do that himself.
2355830 its because the profile for nightmare moon was based on a student profile dusk remembered seeing at star swirl u and bust size wasn't on it. The future profikes are based on Celestia's enjoyment of this one but she added that to see how personal dusk can get with the girls.
