The overhaul for Part 2 is done. I decided the best and quickest way of dealing with the issues with this chapter is to simply eliminate everything after Twilight and Anon entering their room to have their 'little talk'.
What I want them to go over in that section is so critical to the plot, that I don't feel comfortable pushing out a rushed update for that section. I would rather take the time to give this plot point it's own part.
As a result, despite how much I didn't want to do it, essentially part 2 is a transition part between part 1 and 3 with very little plot development. However, considering most of the issues with this chapter revolved around the dialogue between Anon and Twilight, I've completely struck it from the record, to be rewritten with more depth and detail in part 3.
Other changes to part 2 include Anon telling himself to not feel guilty for what's happening between Cadance and Shining, despite the initial pang of guilt. Cutting the initial pang of guilt is unrealistic in my opinion, but Anon is telling himself to not feel guilty.
The entire beginning portion with Twilight is now redone in Third-person. This driving factor is to not allow the reader entirely into Twilight's head. She may have external thoughts and feelings that the reader isn't seeing, which will contribute to future plot points.
There were other minor wording, grammar, punctuation and structural changes, but nothing that changes the plot in an extreme fashion.
