Relic Chapter 2 · 2:59am Jun 7th, 2012
I have posted chapter two of Mankind Triumphant - relic, with thanks to Chatoyance and Midnightshadow for allowing to use/abuse certain parts of their stories from this series. I wasn't sure I would do more chapters as the material is darker than what I usually like, but I had to do chapter 2 as I had already thought a lot about it while doing chapter 1.
Oh, a little note on chronology: the chapters are not meant to be read in chronological order. My intent is to reveal only a piece of the puzzle at a time, with some elements remaining unexplained all the way to the last segment. I don't know if I can really pull this off, but at least I'm going to try. Each chapter has a year in the title (usually when it opens) so those who want to read it chronologically can do so.
Whether I do any more chapters in this series will depend on how well this chapter is received, so please give me your feedback.
