    A Question

This blog post has been a long time coming, I think, but it's something I've refused to even consider for... too long, really.

    Oops

Totally minor thing, but I just noticed that I put 2.1 above the first Interlude. The chapters should now be in the correct order. Sorry about that.

    I'm BACK!

I don't know for how long or by what absurd means, but I'm back! I'm going to be working mostly on OLH, though I've got a first draft (to be revised) of the last Letter to the Sun which I'll try to get out sometime after Finals Week ends. Not sure what I'm going to do with Postclassical, but hopefully I'll manage to finish that too.

    Reading Recommendations: Worm

i think I've referred to this story a few times before, and since it's been such a huge influence on me in terms of my writing I thought I'd do a proper recommendation for it.

(Note: This is not fanfiction. This is an original story in an original universe. No ponies involved. Sorry if that's not your thing, but you really should branch out a bit more.)

    Interlude 1: The First Jump

Well, that took an unforgivably long time.

But yes the first Interlude chapter is out, and I can say with as much certainty as I ever have (read: not much) that I'll have the first part of episode 2 out within... let's say the summer. :rainbowlaugh:

Penultimate Letter · 6:39am Jul 25th, 2014

The penultimate chapter—confession: I love the word "penultimate" and will take any excuse to use it—of Letters to the Sun is complete and sitting in the queue. Took a long time to get done, but I did it.

I won't say much, except that I think Pinkie Pie would approve of both the message and the nature of the passage. Let's just say that there are a... few shout-outs. Yes. A "few," implying that I didn't flat-out steal just about everything in the entire chapter.

Oh well. As Alfred Tennyson T.S. Eliot Pablo Picasso Steve Jobs Google *I* once said, the immature poet imitates and the mature poet plagiarizes. If that's so, then I feel like the god damn James Joyce of FimFic right now.

Disclaimer: I did not actually outright plagarize anything. Many concepts are merely borrowed from other works... which is what fanfiction authors do on a daily basis anyway, so just chillax and enjoy the space ponies. Why are you... that is... why am I making a big deal out of this... screw it.

Anyhow, I'm planning to drop it tomorrow night, following edits and stuff. Check it out then; same place as the rest.

Also, Postclassical Chapter 3 (Movement 2) is scheduled for Saturday. Not going to promise anything, but I think I'll make it. Stuff came up, but it should be on time if I can just sit down and hammer these two scenes together like Sam and Dean Winchester in a shitty slash fic.
