Interlude 1: The First Jump · 11:27pm Mar 7th, 2015
Well, that took an unforgivably long time.
But yes the first Interlude chapter is out, and I can say with as much certainty as I ever have (read: not much) that I'll have the first part of episode 2 out within... let's say the summer.
But on a more serious note, yes, I actually just managed to put out two full chapters within a year of each other. That hasn't happened... in a very long time. Let's hope it snowballs, eh?
Also: Do not take "interlude" to mean that this is somehow not a "full" chapter.
(TL;DR ahead):
I'm using this "interlude" format as a way to do two things:
1. Tell stories outside of Homeworld's "mission" framework, which is how I'm structuring the "Episodes," proper.
2. Focus on characters beyond the Main Six, and give the story from even more perspectives. Because clearly, that's something we need more of.
As such, think of the interludes as connective pieces, showing what's happening beyond the knowledge of our protagonists. This one serves more as a literal bridge between Episodes 1 and 2, but future interludes are going to be quite a bit more out there in terms of who and what the focus on. What do I mean by that and why did I put italics over "out there?" Only time (though hopefully not quite so much of it) will tell!
In any case, I look forward to posting for you all again!
Finally got my copy of Homeworld Remastered in the mail. Everything is so pretty!
