Hiatus Update · 1:14pm Jul 18th, 2014
Hey guys, just wanted to post something to keep you in the loop. I've been extremely busy lately, and haven't had too much time for writing. Despite this, I am about halfway finished, maybe a bit more, with the next chapter for Sins of the Mother. So I'm hopeful that it should be out relatively soon. I'm not sure if I'll have enough free time to justify taking the story off hiatus, but I'll at least have another chapter out. In a small attempt to make up for the long periods between updates, I'm also posting an idea for a potential story (which if I actually get to writing will be started after I've finished at least one current fic of mine) because I have too many ideas and I need to get them out somewhere. Enjoy.
"For the past 200 years, three alliance blocs have dominated the world. To the east lies the Griffonian Empire and their various client states, among which are the Minotaur Republics. In the center of the world's largest continent lies the Kingdom of Equestria, ruled in peace and prosperity in a golden age lasting centuries. Finally, to the West lie the nations bound together by the Compact: A recovering Empire of Man, and the Canine Empire of the diamond dogs. While precarious, these three powerblocs have maintained a delicate peace between them for centuries. But as old secrets are unearthed and strings pulled from behind the scenes, the peace that has reigned over the world threatens to erupt into all-out war. Desperate to maintain the peace and insure that his re-conciliatory agenda is maintained, the human emperor sends emissaries to Equestria with an offer to work together to root out whatever forces are trying to drag the world into war. Pulled into a world of political intrigue and old grudges aplenty, the elements of harmony and their guides must work together to stop this madness, lest a Great War engulf the world from the Eyries of the Griffons all the way to the underground, mountain halls of man and everything in between."
An interesting Idea, I might give it a read.
Sounds like a movie idea.
I'd read it to death if it were done right
