I've been gone from fimfic for a while now due to things that have nothing to do with MLP or fimfiction, and now I'm back. I'm writing again, though I won't say on what since that usually raises hopes that I tend to let down due to OCD and other personal inadequacies.

While the story has been met with approval from nearly all who offered feedback, there were some comments that brought up portions of the story they didn't agree with. As a rule, I find what I do lacking. Having wasted many hours pondering this quirk of my character, I've decided it's a good thing. To me, it's not a lack of confidence in my abilities, but a standard for myself that is persistently greater than what I am; it pushes me to improve rather than scale a cliff only to sit on a plateau.
