On popularity and such. · 10:13am Jul 14th, 2014
So, I realized something today, or yesterday depending on one's point of view... It was after four AM anyways. Namely that this is the first time I've ever done something that's been so well received. Now don't get me wrong, I've been praised for past work and all that, but never once before Dogma have I ever seen so many people favoriting or upvoting something I did.
To be dead honest, its not only flattering, its frightening to me. I'm not big on being the center of attention for anything. I much prefer to stay out of the lime-light and simply skate by under the radar. Well, it seems I won't be doing that any longer. As of my posting this Dogma is now sitting at nine-hundred and seventy-two favorites with a total rating of seven-hundred and twenty-four (705 likes/19 dislikes).
Again, this is the most attention I have ever gotten on anything I've ever done. I want to thank you one and all for being so kind to me, and to my work, and for putting it where it is now: Firmly in the lead among my other public works. This would not be possible without you at all, so once again thank you very very much.
Myself, me and I believe it has something to do with how you're mixing something like "undeath" (which can be related to necromancy, which is mostly referred to as "black magic" or "evil magic") with the "original", silly humor and cute stuff of MLP:FIM. I find it intriguing, and so far I'm loving it. Keep up the good work!

Most certainly will.
Welcome to the club

all aboard the hype train
Well, I would say one of the big boosts was when it got put into LoHAV. Stories, good or bad, that got put in that group would often get a ton of attention thanks to how many were in that group. This also lead to bit of drama, but that's not the point I'm trying to make. What kept you going was that the idea was intriguing and the writing was good. Getting featured help keep it there and boost it further.

Don't I know it. I've never been one to let my ego be stroked but when I not only made the featured list but stayed up there in the second spot for two straight days I got a serious case of the warm fuzzies.

League of Humans Acting Evil. Someone might have added it for you.
Most I've ever gotten was a few hours, once. Might have been longer if another popular story hadn't updated shortly afterword.

My friend Autocarth was fussing at me about staying on the list that long lol. He pops up on there every time he updates though, so... No clue why he was complaining . If you've not read Justice Itself or Bloodlines I'd give them a shot. Damn fine works if I do say so myself.
2285364
I think I've heard of Bloodlines, but haven't read it.
2285366
Its a humanized crossover with Pathfinder (D&D). Its really quite good.
2285373
Hmm, I must be thinking of a different story.
2285417
By the way, love your avatar. Snickering changeling ftw.
2285540
Thanks! It's from the MLP comic.
2285568
I really need to read those. I've got the first few as digital copies but never got around to reading them for some reason.
2285580
They're really good and get a little darker than the show does at times. Also, there's fun stuff like Luna's pet opossum, Tiberius.
2285628
Heh, personally I'd've gone for a slow loris as a pet for her. They're absolutely adorable.
2285638
It was either opossum or an owl bear. :P
2285698
XD In that case, why not a displacer beast? Cat with tentacles anyone?
2285708
She was picking from animals of the night. Twas silly!
2285771
Lol, if memory serves displacer beasts are nocturnal. I'll need to poke through my old monstrous manual again later to check... Too much D&D
2285990
Hahaha! XD
2285998
Lol. Well, its been pleasent talking to you. Have a nice morning/afternoon/evening/night/time of day!
