Hello, everypony. I was wandering around FIMFiction until I came across a peculiar, but interesting, little quip. It was on the User Page of a fellow called, 'Billy Mischief', and he called it his creed. I just wanted to share it with you guys, sort of as a 'food-for-inspiration' sort of thing:
Today, writers are scorned because of those too unversed to know.
Disdained, because of the those too ignorant to believe.
Despised, because of the realists who are too afraid to dream.
Misunderstood, because others are too unsure to try.
But we, as writers, know them to be wrong.A writer is a person who dreams.
A writer is a person who wishes.
A writer is a person who escapes.
A writer is a person who lives.
A writer is a person who is not afraid.
A writer is a person who strives.A person who expresses.
A person who believes.
A person who understands.
A person who knows.I am a writer.
I dream of a world where anything is possible.
I wish for a world where war is just a myth.
I escape into a world where I can predict the future.
I live in a world of joy and mystery.I am not afraid of the world I create.
I strive in the world where others give up.
I express myself in ways others dare not try.
I believe in things others are too afraid to trust.I understand things others cannot, in a way that others cannot.
I know, in ways that others deny.

2254363 Indeed he is. Another reason I like to write and read stories, I can escape into that world to avoid mine for a little while.
2254613 As you could probably guess, I read and constantly write stories in order to entertain others
that, and I also try to make friends over the internet, since, the sad fact is, I'm too scared to go out and make friends if I have never met them before. 
stories let me into a world where anything or anyone can come in when I want them too, or just to flatten out my mind if it becomes too jumbled up with different ideas.

2254705 At least you've weaved a good storyline! I'm panicing over if I've done the characters right or not! Coupled with constantly looking over the chapters for errors or places to improve, I'm lucky I finished the first chapter!
That alternative POV took me so long, since in the middle I sort of had a mental questions of 'What am I doing with my life?' and 'By completing this, am I disgracing my title as a Pentaholic?', then I remembered the 'Candy Apple' fic (Don't look it up... just don't...), and realised that my fic isn't really that bad... I'm still going over parts of that TF part though... I'm also panicking if I've set up the right characters.... (though I am rather proud of one of my lines in Chapter 2 that I'm working on, since it would TOTALY be something Mitch would say 
)
TL;DR- I'm still panicking over it, since I'm not sure if I've set it up properly, or done the characters right. The TF chapter took me so long too, because I had a mini existential crisis, and died a little bit on the inside as I remembered *le shiver* THAT fic...

2254784 And this is why I tell you to take a story seriously to some level, otherwise you end up like this. And my opinion? Try to make it that Earth and Equestria don't feel like they are known to the general public, plus saying, from another dimension sounds crazy, even for magical ponies.

at first I was like 'What the hell am I doing?', since I though people would be really creeped out by my writing, but since I rather enjoy seeing things (if only in art or writing) transform into something of a higher calibre, and it appears, a lot of other people feel the same 
so I gave up questioning, and started enjoying it.
