Forgive me, readers, for I have sinned. · 4:58pm Jul 1st, 2014
Yet again, I commit one of the gravest sins an author on this site can commit. A sin that I seen to be inadvertently committing on a depressingly regular basis.
In my own inherent desire to assure quality, and to try and make every story update I post at least somewhat worthwhile, upon looking at the gap in updates, I have once again succumbed to tardiness.
The last Hand in Hoof update was over three months ago. Though it is far from the longest gap I've ever had between updates, I still feel it is inexcusable to be so negligent. As an author who writes mainly for the pleasure of writing (and the added pleasure of commentary and feedback), I cannot help but feel I have failed my readership whenever a chapter I write comes out much later than it could or should. I also feel I am failing my readers when I cannot evoke a single comment on an update or blog.
I feel like I've failed to entertain when not one person leaves something to encourage me to press on.
I want to apologize for that. Due to many circumstances (my own lethargy and personal issues, chief among them), I am not blessed with the serenity or energy to keep churning out updates on a consistent basis.
The next chapter of Hand in Hoof should be up soon. Those who care, feel free to comment on this blog and be prepared for what comes next. It'll be out as soon as my editor gives it a final look.

It is ok to take your time, as long as you give status updates from time to time. Like percentage done for example. But look, I enjoy hand in hoof. Not sure why people don't comment on the blogs but here I am, commenting. If you are having personal problems make sure they come first. Push forward ok? I will offer whatever help you want that I think I can do .
