So I missed the contest by a misreading of timezones. · 8:12pm Jun 28th, 2014
What it say right on the title of this blog. I had planned to enter the contest, but a mixture of little time to edit, feelings of unworth, almost hatred, towards the story, and the fact that I ended up misjudging the time the story need to go up on my end left me unable to enter Obselencense's The Most Dangerous Game Contest. I ended up writing an almost 10K story that, if I am honest, is rather bad. If any of you is interested in reading, here is the link to the story. It is in Gdocs, as I didn't even have the chance to post it to the site, and I'm sure as hell not going to bother. It's that bad.
In other news, I continue to be in my downward spiral of crap. The one hope I had to get out of it, a job interview I landed two days ago, did not get followed up, leaving me once again without any hope of getting out of my situation. The fact that I missed the deadline for the story only adds to my current woes. This weekend was supposed to be good... but it has instead turned to this.
Oh well. Nothing to do now but see how things turn out. Until the next post, take care of yourselves, and thanks for to those who have helped me out in the past.
Don't worry, Garnot.
My life has been just as bad for quite a while now, and I feel for you.
At least we have each-other.
¡We should all use ISO-8601.
And all times should be GMT/UTC!
⸘How many times do I have to write this‽
ISO-8601 is very easy:
yyyy-mm-ddThh:mm:ss
As an example:
2014-06-28T21:46:44Z
The Z means ZuluTime which is GMT/UTC
On a happier note, have a wonderful TauDay. I wrote a BlogPost About TauDay.
I just read your entry. It is good.
