With my quest/race to get a Rainbow S on all of Freedom Planet 2's stages, my creativity lit up like a bonfire again, and I started crafting an alternate ending of sorts for the past week.
That story is now complete, and posted in its entirety over on AO3.
Now let's see if I can chew it.
I'll be honest, this last chapter, nothing is set in stone. There is so much that can happen, and I don't even know how to ultimately end it.
So, if it's a few days / week before you see anything, fear not. I've been building and building without knowing quite where it's going, and the last thing I want it to do is sputter and die at the final stretch.

As awful as everything that Rarity did was, I really want to see some kind of redemption for Rarity. I think that Fluttershy still loves Rarity, and that she'd either need to properly end their relation as equal ponies, or she'd have to ask AJ how she'd feel about bringing in another pony who needs their love more than she does.
I'm hoping more for a RariShyJack threesome than the former :p
