First off the GOOD NEWS:
I will be writing again.
Maggots and Apples has been fully re-edited with expanded content and various rewordage for your total viewing pleasure! It might be worth rereading it all, but, it isn't required. Oh! And guess what? The new chapter is coming up soon as promised with 100% more cloppish undertones, more gore and a Rainbow Factory scene! Oh and some more Pinkie of course.
D=S-M is currently under my re-edit scrutiny and is next on the list for a good old fashion fine tuning... and boy does it need it. The Universe I had created has out grown my original purpose, and thus, I feel I owe it to those 200odd thumbs up to fine tune this beast before I continue it. However, the next chapter IS ready. I am merely tweaking it, as I am completely terrified of the potential fallout it could cause to the story's ratings... but I will post it, don't worry. I'm just dreading it.
BAD NEWS:
Chasing Twilight has come to a standstill due to a massive writers block. I have 25% of it done, but as it stands, I am not happy with it. It will be posted soon, and I apologize to everyone who is waiting for the next chapter.
Great to hear that you're writing again, I'm especially excited about Maggots and Apples.
That...sounds kinda ominous to me. I hope that none of our favorite ponies (and especially Rainbow, AJ or Twilight) are going to die in it.
Now Spitfire? Wouldn't mind one little bit if she Bit the Big One, and especially at Rainbow or Twi's hooves. Or AJ's, for that matter. I...don't really like her in this. She just seems so...psychotic...for my tastes. Not to mention cruel.
But no need for your to be terrified about things, hun. Because I, for one, have the utmost faith in you, the author of this great, suspenseful fic, that you will bring everything together in such a way that it will leave all of us, your readers, on the edge of our seats, gasping in awe at what happens. I can't wait for the new chapter to come out, so we can see just that.
On another note, I'm betting that Spitfire will be be stupid enough to taunt Twilight about Celestia's death to her face, and get her wings...and her plot...blown off for it.

And I hear ya bout the time constraints thing. I know that your a bit more busy than l'il ol' me, but I have my problems with them, too. Non-student life ain't any better than student life; it's just a bit different. Bleah.
And that's great to hear! No rush, though. I kinda want to re-read the new edits one the previous chapters, anyway.
Quick question, though: is Applejack going to keep her feelings for Twilight intact in the edited chapters? And, if I read things right (and I'm not entirely sure that I did, mind you), Twilight's developing feelings for her?

And to answer your question, yes, Applejack will be retaining her feelings for Twilight in the edited chapters... And to answer the other one, is that prospect simply remains to be seen.
I won't be editing any majorly story changing concepts in the previous chapters, just expanding on what I wanted to write previously but could not think of any viable reason to spend the time writing it. Which is sad, because my time is limited, and I simply wanted to churn chapters out without thinking of the quality.
But now I kind of want to correct that mistake. I do honestly think this story can be better.
Great news! D=S-M is my most looked forward to story!

Again, that's cool to know. I know that I do the same thing at times; think of what I want to put in chapter, but don't because I either A) forgot what I wanted to write in a chapter til way after I've gotten it written, and have to wait to do it when I get a round to typing it up in a text document, or B) I'm just to lazy (er, busy) to mess with it.
And I hear ya bout the limited time, and wanting to get the chapter churned out. Again, I've done the exact same thing. It's just that no one ever sees them except for me.
Which a very good thing at times.
