What's been going on · 12:45am Jun 10th, 2014
Alright, first off, this is not related to that user who I had no clue about and am not gonna get involved in.
Now, you may have noticed I've stopped updating akatsuki for 4 months now. Don't worry, I'm not canceling it, I actually have a chapter coming this week. It's just I've had my life elsewhere. I am not gonna promise faster updates however, because I'm not certain when the next will come. I do hope to have a second one at the end of June at least.
Now, all of my stories have little to no updates for the last 6 months. I know. It's not that I am quitting, but it's I don't have the drive to push it out as fast as before. I only do it when I have time and I feel like it.
I don't want to sound like a jerk when I say this, but in honesty most people on here do not live a life I do. I don't have a job at a Jamba Juice or gamestop I do part time. No, I have a full time career that I will be doing the rest of my life. So I think my life is a little more important than fanfiction.
Another thing.... Fanfiction. It is something I do on my time for free. I don't make a penny off it, so I don't want to be a jerk, but your entertainment is not my priority in my life.
I've actually had people tell me "just because you work is no excuse to not update. Quit being lazy."
Yeah, I apologize the career I do that actually benefits me is taking up time and focus from something I only do for fun here and there. Notice the sarcasm thrown into the words? It's because I don't work at a damn Burger King that I don't want to write instead of succeed. (For the Burger King asshole worker I mentioned and may be reading this, You know who you are. Back off)
Sorry for my rant. But I had to get this off my chest. Now, I go back to my life until further notice.

There's no shame in focusing on your life rather than write fanfiction.
I've yet to do such a thing myself in my current position, sadly
I'm just glad I'm not one of those people. Also I hope you find a job you truly enjoy one day. Also I recently got back into Dragonball Z and I personally think that they should give Vegeta a real Super Saiyan 3 form and let it stop just being fan art.

I don't even know how to properly respond to that.
So, hope you feel better after the relatively calm rant, and good luck with what's going on at your place. Real world, be it work, studies, or whatever is more important than fanfiction.
