Oh yeah, I remember how murderous finals were in High School. That being said, your situation is completely understandable. Your grades come first; pick up the books and make mama proud. At least once school's out of the way, you'll have plenty of time to write during the summer.

Well, the only finals that I'm really worried about are Health, Social Studies and Choir. I like all of those classes, but the workload is intense. And I'm only a Sophomore. Because all three of those are cumulative for the entire year, it's going to take a lot of studying.
I also have my Japanese III final on Tuesday, which is cumulative of all three years (which, for me, is two years because I took Japanese II last summer). That's not as bad, however, as the way that works is that because we've just been building on the simple grammar we learn in the first year, it's just using the current knowledge that you have. And also, the writing test, which is going to have about 112 characters that we've learned over the last two years. So yeah.
Thanks for the update. Your school work should come first, and, while the delay is unpleasant, I look forward to reading the next chapter of your story.
You go get those finals all caught up and done for. After you do, you'll find it a lot easier to work once you get the extra stress off of your mind and subconsciousness.
I've enjoyed The Greatest Show of Kindness so far, but I won't let my desire for a good fic get into the way of what you need to accomplish in life. With that said, I wish you the best of luck on your finals.
