OK, what hell is wrong with everyone?! I made my first and only MLP/DBZ fusion story and it had over 20 dislikes! The likes has been bouncing up but IT appear that no one likes the idea, I got news to for people, this Story was back during my earlier time as a Writer! Don't dislike it because of that! Heck I'm not even done putting up all the chapters I did and it already over the dislikes that cancelled the story. If those dislikes don't drop down, then the Chrysalis Saga will never happen! DO you want to see the transformation Twilight pulls off? You want to know how she fight Chrysalis? Then stop disliking and give it a chance. And don't tell me it my grammar, guess what? I DON'T CARE!!! No one percent, I'm going to have in get more into the DBZ like when Twilight appears but I guess no one cares. Once the eighth chapter is up, the story will be cancelled, and you know why? Because that chapter is where I stop and I having trouble finding the next episode. Once it up you well see what I mean, so stop doing the dislikes and give it a chance. Don't say it my grammar. There been stories that said my grammar is bad, but they don't have lots of dislikes. And no I don't have a Proof Reader and it hard to get on these days.

First of all, calm down.
Second of all, just because the fic was written when you were a startup writer doesn't make it immune to dislike and criticism. Not that criticism is a bad thing, it's very helpful.
Listen to complaints, listen to criticism. If you don't, people will stop following you, and you may begin deleting comments, and once that gets out, a shitstorm will start and you'll be seen as either an egotistical/narcissistic person who only accepts praise, or a whiny person who thinks he's perfect and everything he does is perfect.
As for grammar, that is actually extremely important. Bad grammar can easily break a story's flow, and therefore turn a fic with lots of potential into a train wreck, because if you can't get the gist of it due to horrible grammar, how are you supposed to like it?
People wont't love everything you write. You have to grit your teeth and bear with it, and listen to criticism because if you don't, you won't improve.
I have three fics, one of which has over FIFTY dislikes, and I'm fine with it. I don't complain, I accept it's bad and deal with it. Whenever I get honest and constructive criticism, I'm thankful for it. You should be, too.

2151207 This is the first time my dislikes out vote my likes and stay. That why I'm upset, I never had this many dislikes before and I been a member of this site for almost a year.

I had a similar problem with the first story I wrote. Right now, it's at 11 likes and 75 dislikes. On one hand, I really want to do a followup story, but on the other hand...if so many people disliked the first, why should I bother following up? I think I will do the follow up, just because I want to. Don't let the dislikes get you down :)
