I've been a brony for a year and a half, and a pilot for a year, and I plan on using both of those experiences to write my stories. Be awesome, everyone!
As a newly-minted Aviator, Nimbus finds himself swept up in a mission to stop a splinter faction of The Awakening, but the faction has turned their backs on Nightmare Moon in pursuit of a mysterious weapon and a mythical wartime research facility...
I'm going to try a little something as we move further into the holiday season- starting tomorrow, I'm going to begin posting small sections of a piece from my headcanon's Pegasus mythology library (now that's a mouthful). This will be revealed as a telling from Nimbus to Whirlwind, two of my characters. Without further ado, let's get into this!
The link above is for my new Ace Combat story, Forgotten Skies! There may be some references to my pony works, some more obvious than others, so if you read it, keep your eyes peeled! Also, please leave feedback if you choose to read it (granted I've only done the prologue, so...)
After completing book 1 of "Wings of Deceit," I've decided to put things on hiatus for a month or so. I need a bit more inspiration, classes are becoming more involved, and I'm going to begin working on an Ace Combat fanfic during this time. If anyone's interested, I'll post links once it's underway. But what does this mean for this site? Well, I may not be posting during this time, but I'll
The next chapter (and the conclusion to book 1 of Wings of Deceit) is now complete. Just running it through a few pre-readers before I release it. It'll be here soon!
This is pretty much what I do when I'm not eating, sleeping, gaming, flying, writing, or bike-riding. Essentially, these are just some possible aircraft that may feature in a hypothetical Ace Combat fic I'll be starting alongside my next MLP fic. Enjoy!
1st one: Tornado merged with the tail of a phantom. Windigo 2: Main body looks like the Mirage 2000. Can't say much about the wings. Windigo 3:It's an X-02. Minus the variable geometry wiwngs.
Nailed the first one, and pretty close on the others. The Mirage is actually a Mirage F-1 with a bubble canopy and extended radome. Surprisingly, I do agree that it looks an awful lot like a 2000 series instead. The other one is an original fighter. In profile, it's similar to the X-02, but instead of a mid-wing it's a high-wing design, like the SU-47, has twin ventral stabilizers, has somewhat flatter intakes lacking an outward cant, the tail surfaces are actually located on the wings, and the exhaust vanes are closer to the center of the aircraft. That said, it's very inspired by the Wyvern.
love the Wendigo 2 good job
