OH my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh! Its back, its back can you believe it...Sailor Moon is being subbed on VIZ right now.
I mean, look at it from my perspective. For years we have been told, "Toei took aways the rights, Nakao Takuechi was not pleased with how the dub handled things, ect ect" heck, they took away the rights to Stars, didn't find someone to dub PGSM (yes, I am a fan) or anything else. Basically, the only chance I had to see my girls back in the game was to buy the ridicously expensive (unless bootleg DVD on ebay) DVD box sets of the entire first, second, third, and fourth seasons. The only reason why I own the first season was thanks to finding a link to an Amazon sale thanks to the Agony Booth. Meanwhile, you keep seeing the show getting rereleased in Italy, Germany, and who knows where else. At the same time, almost everytime you see a show online review Sailor Moon, they treat it like it is from the 8th circle from hell (Believe me, you do not want to hear me rant on the Nostalgia Critic's review of Sailor Moon.) Add this to memories of the haters, the hate fics, and everything else (You think being a brony is bad. HA! Let me tell you how I felt when I read Blood Moon for the first time) and the chances of ever seeing the first series dubbed ever again seemed like a distant pipe dream. Not to mention, the dub was horrible! Messing up the character development, the charactizations, the plot, the relationships (Imagine if someone redubbed FIM to where every other line was a bash against Pinkie Pie), the action, and so much more. I mean, this show is about LBGT friendly as you can get and what does DIC do? Zoicite is a girl, Fish eye is a chick, and Haruka and Michiru, my girls, turned into cousins.
Just think of if Hasbro took away the show, never redubbed it, never gave out anything related to it, and Lauren condemmed DHX for the whole affair and you can see why it looked hopeless for this Moonie. I mean, yeah, I gave out who I wanted to dub the voices for a redub once in a while, but that was a joke, I knew that Toei wouldn't be that nice. They still havent given the rights to Sentai for crying out loud, but then...Friday.
They announced that Viz would be streaming the series subbed. At last, we would be seeing the show as it was meant to b. Sure, it would be to a small audience but still...What's that? Uncut box sets and...A NEW DUB!!

OHHH! I haven't been this excited since the redub of One Piece. How will certain scenes go? Who will be in it? How will they sub La soldier? Oh so many questions! But I do have a list of girls I want

Ps...Saturday, as I was walking around a flea market, I kept seeing Sailor Moon stuff. Everywhere. Plushies, the old Irwin figures, the works...I wonder if that is a sign? *looks at Harmony of the moon* I'll be back moonies.
Hmm, maybe I should watch that again, somehow. I almost grew up on that show, the times I was sick enough to not go to school that is.

Viz is the other great dubbing company besides Funimation. Viz is the group that brought us Naruto, Death Note, and Bleach along with so many others

AH Gundam Seed, good times. The only reason why I didn't think of her as LAcus was because I watched it subbed first. But then I found out that Matt Hill and Samuel Vincet was in the dub.
