The fate of the Para bellum universe

I know a few of you have Para bellum on watch, so this might come as a bit of a shock to the die hard fans. I assure you that the core concept is not dead. But in order for me to grow as a writer I need to make some changes. Among these is the change to Para bellum:

THIS ITERATION OF THE PROJECT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. Para bellum will be reworked and relaunched after the completion of Equestrian Horizon as part of a larger project. Stand by for further updates in my writer's blog. The text of this story will remain online for archival purposes.

I am working to unify the continuities of my military-themed FiM stories in what will become the Para bellum universe. Equestrian Horizon will become the main piece, detailing the return of the Crystal Empire and the implications that event has on the rest of Equestria. Equestrian Dawn will become the prequel, covering the subject matter of the old Para bellum, a period of time mentioned repeatedly in Equestrian Horizon as "The Continental War." Finally, Equestrian Twilight will conclude the trilogy, though I am not ready to reveal plot details from it right now.

I don't know how long this will take, nor can I yet give definitive milestones, as the project is very large and very ambitious and I am but one writer being pulled many directions by the whims of life. I will do my best to keep my readership informed of my progress. Happy reading everypony!
