I'm going to be honest with all of my readers. I hit a wall in this story a while ago when I went to write the next chapter. It seems like things weren't flowing correctly, and that usually means you need to start from the beginning of whatever your section was. The only problem is, I think this story has set up incorrectly from the start. It's amazing what you will learn from attempting to write a story. It all seems to go so well in your head and as soon as you write it down, it seems so much less attractive. Now, I'm not saying that I hate my story or anything. Simply that I don't think this came out how I intended it to. It feels like I'm 'forcing' characters and situations to act or react in a certain way. And I don't want it to feel forced. That's what my struggle has been. I thank you all who have read this story and I hope that when I release a new story that you will give it a shot. I might come back to this, just to finish it off for the sake of completion, but I'm not counting on it at the moment.
There's a concept in economics that applies to this situation, should you ever find yourself in a similar one. "Sunk costs are irrelevant." The resources spent on this project are a "sunk" cost and cannot be retrieved. Thus, it should be irrelevant to future decision making. I will leave the story up for those who wish to read it.
Too bad. I'll await your future decisions though
