    Bruh

Alright bruhs. It took some time, but I finally managed to catch up on all the new episodes for season 5, and holy crap was the 100th episode awesome. Some serious fan-service but c'mon, all those background and side ponies... it was great! And they gave my Octavia a voice so automatic bonus points to them for that one. However, side note, I have been on here looking at all the new stories and

    A self - imposed resurrection?

I don't even know where to begin... Too much has happened in these last couple months to describe so I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I'M BACK BITCHES! I'm rekindling my love for ponies even as I write this, and as I can't make any promises that work will begin right away, I will say I am excited to see what new stories have come out since my, regrettably, unannounced

    Until further notice

I'm writing this from mobile so forgive me for any typos. Unfortunately my computer is kill at the moment. I caught a nasty virus and can no longer access any of my Web browsers. So until I can chalk up the money for a good Antivirus all projects are on hold. I would like to apologize for this, as this is 100% my fault. I'll check in every now and then on mobile and once I rectify the issue I

    A little something to discuss...

I saw this video yesterday, and even though it is from a TV show it hit me right in the chest. So I come here and implore you to watch this video and please tell me your opinion. It's a fantastic clip, and I was curious about everyone's opinion.

    Thanks for reading.

The End of it All? · 6:58pm May 4th, 2014

So the trailer for the Season 4 finale has finally appeared. New villain, new power's, new allies, and new plot lines. Of course all that means for us is new material and new head canon, but does this mark the end of the fandom? Do you think that the show should continue, or should it stop while it is still ahead? Watch the trailer and tell me your thoughts on the Fandom. I'm genuinely interested in what you guys think.

P.S New villain apparently steals magic...that's badass, just sayin'.

eh, its not the end, there's a season 5 :trollestia:

Oh noes M.A. Larson got to Discord as well

I know there is supposed to be a season 5 but still, do you think the fandom is dying?

2076806
well people are gonna bitch and whine about leaving, but no i don't think so.

2076789 ik there is a season 5

2076806

Considering what a colossus this fandom has turned into, I doubt even a whole bad season could kill it off.

It's just got to many independent content producers. Heck, this site alone is nearly scary active.

And further considering that what has been shown so far of the season four ending looks awesome, I even more doubt this is the end for anything but just that.

I Am part of a group who are desperately hoping the new Villain, the "ancient enemy" they describe, is Tirek.

I just... Love it when a show acknowledges it's history like that.:rainbowkiss:

2076846 This somehow reminds me of Homestuck, which according to the last update, only has one, final, Epic-Level Update in the works for the Finale...:trixieshiftright:

Considering how big and Crazy that Fanbase got, I don't think it'll be effected too hard by the comics Finale...

Same with My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic.

I call it the "Pokemon Will Never Die" effect.:pinkiecrazy:

With the exception of one episode, I never watched all of Season 4. And based upon the reviews of the recent episode, I'm quite disappointed at the lackluster that is the Equestria Games. All that build up and for what...only an opener and closing and time for 1'event ?:rainbowhuh:

Plus, I never did forgive the crew over the whole Princess Twilight rush job and the short Season 3. Somethings are worth building for and that wasn't one of them. :twilightangry2:

So I could care less about the Season 4 finale villain, unless it's worth it and has some long lasting damages, then forget it. :ajbemused:

Personally, people feel the need to give it a hard time, and Lauren's idea of "I'm going to stop watching it so I can retain how I see each character" back in season 3 certainly didn't help people's opinions. "Oh no, it's still going, it should've ended when Lauren left!" is one of the dumbest arguments for it.

Hasbro found a nice way around them trying to cancel it around Season 3 (It's well-documented that Season 3 was intended to be the final season), but they state that they have the next, like, 4 or 5 years of the MLP franchise mapped. It provides them with plenty of success, especially with regards to merchandising, so there's no NEED to cancel it; if the well hasn't run dry, why close it off to thirsty villagers? :unsuresweetie:

All in all, the series, even if the fanbase is "dying" (as some claim), is FAR too easy to exploit, to even consider killing it off, and it's not going down any time soon... I'll still be watchin' it; two of the last four episodes actually had themes that felt rather highly relatable, from a personal level... And if they keep showing ideas and themes that fit the bill, might as well make room for more seasons. :ajsmug:

In my opinion I don't think the fandom is dying but if it does. I wouldn't care. I'm going to enjoy this show regardless it gets get cancel or not. It has some episodes I could really relate to and I watch them sometimes when I got nothing else to do.

Well anyway this new villain sounds interesting and I be looking forward seeing this season finally..

2078456 2076846 2077342

I share a similar opinion. Even though many would say that the fandom is dying, I disagree. This fandom still has a ton of momentum, and I don't see it ending anytime soon. The loss of Lauren Faust was sad, and I would of liked to see where she would of gone with her story but alas, there isn't anything we can do about it. Also I don't see the show itself being canceled anytime soon. It's like Shimmering said "if the well hasn't run dry, why close it off to thirsty villagers?"

As for the "Princess Twilight" debate, I won't dive into that one again. I agree that it was rushed but at the same time necessary. Everyone makes mistakes even M.A Larson. I've been in too many debates about this to keep going. So that's that.

Seasons are gonna continue all the way to 9th season, this is confirmed.

Fandom is gonna keep growing, and it all will be fucking amazing like always, there will always be people who bitch about every fucking thing, but that happens with everything ever so whatever.

The end of this season will be awesome.
The start of next season will be awesome.
The end of the whole series will be awesome.
And I know for a fact that I will be there to watch that, the reason being that once I really like something for example drawing, music, sports or MLP, it is nearly impossible for me to let go of it. Only being apart for a year or so from the show or anything related to it, would most likely result to me dropping the interest, my upcoming 9-month army-service might be one that might make the interest drop slightly, but I'm still heavily pondering it since there is so much more shit I'm going to do in the upcoming years, that might result in me getting a career, that I most likely rather join the civil-service rather than army (there's a shit-ton more into it but I'm not gonna start explaining).

WHY the fuck do my comments so often turn into lifetime-tales? Jisus Crust...
