I'm writing this from mobile so forgive me for any typos. Unfortunately my computer is kill at the moment. I caught a nasty virus and can no longer access any of my Web browsers. So until I can chalk up the money for a good Antivirus all projects are on hold. I would like to apologize for this, as this is 100% my fault. I'll check in every now and then on mobile and once I rectify the issue I will let you all know. Thank you.
I recommend getting Malware Bytes. It is an excellent free anti-malware program. And if the virus stops it from being installed, there is the chameleon version. It takes hints from some of the more advanced viruses, and disguises itself to prevent viruses from finding it. A good paid antiviral is Kaspersky. I've not personally used them, however, it tends to be one of the better one in a variety of AV tests, and I've heard nothing but good things about it.
Get Malware Bytes or Microsoft Security Essentials. You can use a USB drive and safe mode to get stuff off/on your computer. As a last resort, pull all your documents and photos and then reset it to factory. That'll wipe out just about anything.
I've got two things right now: MalwareBytes for, well, Malware, and Kaspersky for regular Virus-scanning.
Brilliant means of figuring out which virus-scanner to get, actually: I just go to a computer-repair center and asked them what THEY use.
