Not the chapter itself, but a status update, because you guys should know!
I've recruited the assistance of Sore-ing Skies to try and ensure that I actually get some writing done, and it kind of helps! I was able to get about 1k words written today and a bunch written the night before on the bus back from Nashville, so things are somewhat chugging along.
I'm about 3500 words into chapter 53 and expect this one to be either relatively long, or out at the end of this scene (it'll probably hit about 4k+ words if I get it out here). I'll let you decide. Either way, stuff is happening. Post what'cha want in the comments.

Getting the chapter out sooner at around 4k words would be nice, but if you feel like the chapter should end in a later scene then go for it. As long as it's not a cliffhanger that kills my heart.

I don't necessarily feel like it should end in a later scene, but I feel that, as long as I'm writing consistently (I hope), I should make it longer because of the wait. If this plan doesn't work out how I hope, then I'll probably post the 4k or so regardless.

End it when it feels like a natural stopping point. Word count means nothing if it's all fluff. Granted this is coming from the guy who updates with the consistency of VG cats and the linguistic skills of an AOL chat-room but still even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
So this means that the next chapter is coming soon and it will be long? Awesome!
I really hope it's worth the wait. Maybe we can get some answers like Twilight's mental, physical and emotional condition, what happened to Celestia, if Luna will get to see Twilight and if Twilight's pregnant.
