Outsider's Game Update 2 · 4:59am Apr 18th, 2014
It's been a while since the last chapter of Turning Wheel, so let's dish news.
First, yes, I am working on the next chapter. The problem is that I'm currently on a deadline for a big school project, and I'm feeling the crunch lately. Much work, very involved. Wow. So if the pace of updates slows to a crawl, that's why.
That said, I really DO want to get this story done. Turning Wheel is by far my longest story yet. I already managed to write over 50,000 words (also it was written in under a month, so it qualifies as NaNoWriMo level). And it's not done yet. It might not be obvious, but because of that length and the fact that the story was mired in the least interesting part of the narrative, I've grown tired of it. So the sooner I can get it done (or at least get to the more interesting parts) the better.
Next is that heading: Outsider's Game. As readers of my Solar Sails stories can guess, Turning Wheel is not the only work under this heading. I'm going for a series, something I'm calling the Outsider's Game Cycle. And once Turning Wheel is finished, I'll start work on the next part. This is where you all come in.
I'm on the fence about two different stories I want to tell as the next part of Outsider's Game. So I'm letting you all vote on which. But I want to be mysterious, so the choice comes down to this:
Which would you rather see? An Ankh, or a Clock?
