I originally was going to have Rainbow Dash meet Diana at the end of Mare of Steel, as an extra little epilogue after the Darkseid scene.
How it was going to go down is that Rainbow lands on a building in Trottingham, having been called there by Batpony/Batmane/Batstallion/The Dark Knight/Blueblood. He shows up and the talk for a little, when he mentions that he'd called someone else to join in on their conversation. Cue Diana landing, and after a few bits of snark between her and Rainbow Dash, the two having come to odds with one another off-screen (PM me if you want to know just what happened), Blueblood explains why he called them there; an organization called Intergang is preparing for something big, and he has to admit that he can't fight them alone. Thus, the Big Three start to set the groundwork for what will eventually become the Justice League.
And is it bad if I want this scenario to happen in Superman vs. Batman, just so Wonder Woman can get her own movie?
What made you decide against it?
2019435 I had not finalized who Batman was going to be at the time, was only starting to get ideas down for Diana, and I felt that the story had gone on long enough and didn't want to bring on Ending Fatigue
No, that makes sense.
Some people may have been confused as to when Batmane and Super Mare met though.
2019448 Also a valid point (as I hadn't written "The Kryptonian and the Bat" when I toyed with the idea)
That would definitely help DC with establishing a shared universe for their JL movie, Marvel started doing it with their films and it worked wonders in the build up to the Avengers.
2019498 That's one of the problems I have with the upcoming movie; it just seems like they're throwing everyone together at once instead of giving each hero their moment to shine
2019528 Maybe that's why DC have problems with their movies
2019539 Maybe... from what I've heard the New 52 isn't doing so well either
I would love to,see a scene like that happening and a prologue to the Justice League. So,please, by all means do,try it out.
2019551 Well neither did the 'Ultimate' universe or DC's own 'Allstar' re-boot. It's as if they haven't realized that it just wont work to re-hash a famous character while keeping to the same medium.
2019952 All Star Superman did alright. ASBAR, on the other hand...

2019551 I feel they really dropped the ball with New 52, I'm all for a reboot when it's done well, bu there is just so much that is wrong with this reboot that it's hard to stay interested. But that's just my opinion, I'm not saying it's all bad, I like the Forever Evil story arc that's on right now and the new Doctor Fate is totally awesome.
But it's things like how they re-invented the Phantom Stranger or demolished the Daily Planet, not to mention how the number of female heroes seems to have dropped hugely.
Maybe I'm just nit picking, but things seemed better BEFORE the New 52.
2022050 Yeah...
