I've been rewatching Season 4 a bit, and I can't help but wonder: does anyone else get the impression that Twilight was originally supposed to set up shop in the old castle? Change of Pace

Mystery Night in Ponyville is now complete, with all the pomp and ceremony that such an event demands. (Yay!) Now that that's done, I'm at a bit of a loss for where to go from here. Flutterceps - Unfortunate Implications

My third fic, Applebloom vs. the Eighteenth Amendment, has been submitted to Fimfiction.net. I'm a little nervous about this one. It's hardly an original concept (it's based on a freakin' episode of The Simpsons, for crying out loud), and it doesn't have any of that sweet shippy goodness that made Best Laid Plans such a success. Still, a lot of people have told me they enjoyed this fic, so maybe I'm just being overly critical.

When I first came up with this story, it was originally going to be Applejack vs. the Eighteenth Amendment. But then I realised that turning the Element of Honesty into a criminal booze baroness was a bit of a stretch, so I opted for Applebloom instead ('cause that's totally more plausible). That decision was definitely for the better, because not only was the fic now 300% cuter by default, but it also gave me a chance to write about the Cutie-Mark Crusaders, and that's always fun.

Part II will be added later in the week (after I complete my full G exam on Friday). For now, enjoy the story and remember: never ever break a cold one!
