A few progress updates and a book recommendation

I've been a bit distracted and busy the last few weekends, but have made progress on the next Chapter of the Moon story. It's sitting at 5,000 words, with a good deal left to go though. It's been a weird few weeks for me. A family emergency demanded a 4,500 mile road trip, which actually ended up becoming a fairly fun family vacation. Luckily I have a very forgiving boss, and plenty of comp time saved up. So, I saw a few parts of the country I've never seen before, including the Grand Canyon, Mt. The next 'Moon' chapter en route. I just finished rewrites and will give it another couple of self edits before I post it. Give me a day or two and it'll be all ready to go. I think you'll like it: There's a good bit of foreshadowing and character development that will set the stage for some fun stuff (not that there isn't a bit of action in this chapter). The first interlude should be around fairly quickly as well, maybe in a week or two.
