Yeah, it's been a while, writers block got in the way, then life kept me away. I don't want to give up on the story as I have enough scraps of ideas for at least another book after this (not that this one is close to finishing).

here's a little regional map I managed to churn out today
if Equestria is north of the equator, these guys are situated firmly towards the ass-end of Terra, which means from their perspective the sun and moon have been acting extremely fucky and no one knows why
Locale: Sauria, The Southern Continent (minimal examples elsewhere)
Height: 4" 3' (females), 4" 9' (Males)
Magic: N/A
coloration: tannish skin & fur, grey markings on females, crimson markings on males, mane varies
I've never been too keen on using the foot as the standard unit of measurement in Equestria, that sent me on a tangent to "standardise" some equestrian units of length, the results of which you see below, and can expect to see me use within the universe from now on.
the phrase "used in place of" should be taken to mean informally
well, I've finally taken the plunge into fanfic writing
when it gets approved please check it out and give you honest opinions on it and constructive criticism, also point me towards an editor because I'm hopeless at putting thoughts into words, seriously, I'll be bursting with ideas but when I sit down to wright by brain just goes enope

Best of luck with it... There are always butterflies while waiting on that first approval. Just remember the most important thing new authors fail to do is make a good short description. If there is an error there, it will cost you a ton of views.
