Holy Crap! This Is The Coolest Thing! (Plus chapter update news)

First things first, an awesome person by the name of Tehmisiu (AKA Tehursus) has made an art of Mother of Invention!

This is the best thing I've ever seen. Ever. Of all time. I'm honoured, for real.
So I figure the least I can do is let y'all know the status of the next chapter. (Thank Tehmisiu for this one )

I currently have ~2400 words written, and the rest of the chapter outlined. Should be able to finish it in one or two more good writing sessions, and I expect the final wordcount to be somewhere around 5000, though don't quote me on that.
Here's the tentative title for the chapter.
It's gonna kick off a bit of a shift in the story, so prepare yourselves. It's gonna be big. I'm almost afraid that I might lose a few readers, but trust me when I say that I know where I'm going... and that you'll all get your answers.

So there you go! That's the state of affairs. Have I mentioned that Tehmisiu is awesome? Because they are. They're really awesome.

You know, the old cover art was actually so perfect the story didn't really need its own custom made piece. Nevertheless, the new art is every bit as perfect as the old and the artist is clearly talented at the craft.
