    Update (Without excuses this time!)

Guess what? I'm done writing the next chapter of Manifesto.

I just need to give my prereaders a day or two to look over it, and then it'll go up.

Until then, here's Despacito being played on a guzheng.

    Hey, everyone.

I've somehow gotten out of the habit of posting updates. Oops.

Anyway, you've no doubt noticed that I don't post as often as I once did in the past. This is largely because improvements in my life situation mean I have the wherewithal to engage in hobbies other than writing fanfiction.

    Update.

Goodness, it's been a while, hasn't it? You're probably wondering why my pace has slowed down on Manifesto. Well, there are several reasons, but the most relevant one is that I find myself rewriting large swaths of this chapter as I zero in on the best plan for Sunset to take. I'm basically going back and forth between two ideas that can't really be combined into a single one, and for

    New Story Incoming

In case you missed my last blog post, I'm taking a break from the adventures of Celestia and Daring Do to write the next Petriculture story. At this point it looks like it'll be fairly short -- about two chapters long -- and I recently finished up the first chapter, which will be posted once my prereaders give it a final once-over.

Hey, guess what? Update time! · 2:59am May 19th, 2012

That's right, it's update time. I'm approximately halfway done with Chapter 8, which, like most chapters, has its unique challenges. In this case, the challenge is making a metric assload of exposition sound interesting. Fortunately, I've got a lot of practice doing this through dialogue from my previous, non-pony fanfiction efforts, so it should still be enjoyable.

But I also have to make sure I set everything up for the final two/three chapters, which are going to be super-awesome or my name isn't Kwakerjak. Which, technically, it isn't, since that's just a pseudonym I use online, which means that that cliche probably wasn't the best one to use in this context...

Oh, who cares? You know what I mean.

On a side note, I've also got another one-shot fanfic in the planning stages. At the moment, I'm trying to decide if I should get it out of the way so it doesn't distract me during WSC's big finish, or if I should wait until I'm done with this.

I look forward to WSC's conclusion. As to the one-shot, I'd get it out of the way right now, so you can focus more on WSC. MOAR RAINLIGHT! :rainbowkiss::twilightsmile:

If you want a break from WSC to step away and plan, or refresh, I'd go with the 1 shot. Otherwise, if it's either/or, I'd say stick with WSC while you have the momentum.

Kwakerjak is a string of characters to which you respond. Therefore, it is your name. Therefore, the final two/three chapters must be awesome.

I have just logically proven that the end of your story is going to be amazing. Now show us. :pinkiehappy:

Probably get that one shot out of the way, but that's just me. Very excited for the next WSC! :yay:

Well, I would like to say that this story is great. It is very enjoyable to read, all though I think that putting in some human elements in there was a little to much. Like weed...and sex... I don't know...But I did get a laugh with the weed part. But, all of that aside, keep doing what you do.
