Why no updates · 9:26am Mar 16th, 2014
For those who wait for any of my stories to update:
I'm sorry, but you really shouldn't expect anything for at least a week or more likely two. Hopefully not more. I'm preparing to move to another town, and I'm really bad at managing stress. It makes it almost impossible to write.
On the plus side, the pressure packs up a huge amount of ideas in my head, so there may be a small burst of writing in the early April, once I've settled.
The expected order of updates:
1) Next chapter of Twilight makes first contact.
- this one's big and complex, so it may be on its way to become several chapters
- I'll try to publish this (or these, if that turns out to be the case) together with Dramatis Personae and an updated Glossary with Magibabble added
- I also had a fun idea for a what-if chapter, but I don't want to write it before I make a next proper update
2) Either more Twilight makes first contact, or Applejack the Vampony Slayer
- Tmfc has been most on my mind recently just because of the huge amount of though it takes to write it, but it's headed for a natural break-point in two or three chapters, after which it will be absolutely necessary to let it be as I mull the continuation over
- during that break I will be working with AJtVS; it's so character-driven that it needs quite a bit of concentration to work
3) Rainbow Dash makes a windigo:
- tends to get a new chapter whenever I finish a major piece of other writing
4) I also have outlines for two new stories, but I think it's better if I wait until I've finished something before I start any new projects : )
Hurray for updates (and new term: magibabble)!
Okay, that makes sense with the move and all. I was starting to get a little concerned, but good to know that you're alive and well, with a good reason for the minor hiatus. As always, real life comes first, particularly when it's something as big as moving. Take your time to get settled in, we'll still be here!
Thanks for the update. (Er... you know what I mean...). TMFC is probably the story I'm the most
madly clamoring tovaguely intrigued to *cough* see completed at the moment, but I can probably manage to subdue myall-consuming ravenous hungernot-complete-disinterest for it long enough to let you move, perhaps. After all, attempting to rush the completion of a story in such circumstances is rarely good for its ultimate quality, and while a lowering thereof would benefit me greatly [dubious - discuss] by increasing my free time,Applejackhonesty compels me to admit that I can't find it in my heart to put down this piece quite yet.Phew, I think I managed to fool them with a cool, aloof demeanor despite the presence of all that aweso... No! Don't type that it'll blow my cov-Farið frá, það er ekkert að sjá hér!Good luck with your move.
Yes, life should come first. At least we have a rough time frame now. Best of luck to you in your move.
Not to sound pushy, but I hope your move went well! Hast thou made progress?
1969150 Right! Just came online to celebrate the fact that I have internet in my new place again! Stuff is still a bit mess, and my muscles ache, and I'm tired as hell, but things are looking up. I'll get back to writing, if not tonight, then tomorrow!
