Or, at least I'll TRY to analyze it. XD
So! I think a lot of us know the infamous scene in "The Super Cider Squeezy 6000", right? Okay, so let's look at it from a whole.
It's really early in the morning, the sun isn't even up yet. Fluttershy is asleep, and then is roused when she hears a noise. It's then that Rainbow Dash bursts in, declaring that it's Cider Season and they have to get going. She then proceeds to pull the covers off Fluttershy. Said mare then looks embarrassed and flushed, covering herself with her hooves and smiling nervously.
A funny scene, isn't it? So, in thinks to Souldin for inspiring me...here's some of this. We'll talk about that moment, and then a couple of things that happen later in this episode.
Now, okay. It seems simple enough, right? Rainbow Dash is waking Fluttershy up early so that they can get in line for cider at Sweet Apple Acres, and so she's picking her up early so they can get there before anypony else, especially Pinkie Pie. Then she picks her right up and flies her to Sweet Apple Acres so they can get there faster. Oh yes, that all seems simple enough and not something you would think twice about, right? Well, let's think about it for a minute, shall we?
For one thing, Rainbow Dash honestly had no reason to do that. She really didn't have to bring Fluttershy along! And especially not like that, either! So while you COULD argue that they may have planned to go together beforehand, let's look at it this way. They could just as easily have met each other at Sweet Apple Acres, showing up separately and meeting one another there. That's simple enough, right? Of course!
But no. She goes to Fluttershy's house, wakes her up really early in the morning, and rushes her off to Sweet Apple Acres. To get there faster. You would think, yes, Rainbow Dash didn't want Fluttershy to slow her down. But, then if you think about it, she doesn't even have to! Again, she really didn't have any good reason to bring her along like that! She didn't even have to in the first place. She could have easily just left on her own, and get there in time, and Fluttershy would get there when she would get there. All of this is going on when Rainbow Dash is seriously intent on getting cider no matter what.
As it seems, she was determined to bring Fluttershy along! So they would both be in the same place in line!
You could argue that Fluttershy is her best friend, and she wanted company to wait in line with and to share the cider with. Now, yes, I agree with that! See? I can take off my shipping goggles! So, we could go with that, too.
But then there's this.
Rainbow Dash let Fluttershy go ahead of her in line. Honestly! When she was hell-bent on getting cider! When she KNEW that the line was ridiculously long and the chances of getting any were nil! She LET. FLUTTERSHY. GO. AHEAD OF HER.
Wow. She must really want Fluttershy to get some cider!
Now again, she had no reason to bring her along in the way she did. Fluttershy doesn't seem all that keen about cider (but would have some anyway). She's hell-bent on getting cider. Then she lets Fluttershy go ahead of her in line.
And Fluttershy blushed heavily and smiled nervously upon Rainbow Dash tearing the covers off of her.

THEY ARE DATING.

Okay, that was just me being silly.
But really, it's so odd the way Rainbow Dash does and says things around Fluttershy like that. She wouldn't have done this with Rarity, Twilight, or Pinkie Pie, to be sure! That much I think we know. No, she was determined to bring Fluttershy along. ...FOR NO REASON.
I'm not saying Rainbow Dash isn't generous or not loyal. I'm also not saying she ALWAYS does something with "What's in it for me?", either. But it's just so amazing how she does all of this, when she's hell-bent on getting cider. She still lets her friendship with Fluttershy shine through first and foremost. I mean, WOW. It's amazing, really.W
But hey, I'm a happy fangirl. :D
Yes yes yes yes yes yes YES. <3 FlutterDash is one of my favorite pairings, thanks to little things like this. c:
Interesting take. I noticed that season two had Rainbow becoming much kinder to Fluttershy than she was in season one. It did make me wonder that with all her intentions of getting cider, she did everything to make certain that Fluttershy would have some first.

Thank you! And you're right, Rainbow Dash really was a lot nicer to Fluttershy in season 2, and wasn't always rolling her eyes at her or actively ignoring her. It's kind of sad, but I'm willing to bet it was nothing personal, might just have been going through tough moments of pre-character development. But I digress.
Oh ho ho ho. :D I will certainly be doing one on Hurricane Fluttershy. That's going to be a big one! ^w^
Also, on a somewhat related side-note: the FlutterDash duet in the pet episode is one of my favorite parts of season 2. <3 And then there's... well, ALL of Hurricane Fluttershy, which is probably my favorite season 2 episode. :3

No kidding, that was a fun episode! XD Their duet, and the physical contact Fluttershy made, not to mention the way they interacted, was just so adorable.

I just like to think of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy as really close friends but thats just my opinion.
Thats why I liked the first two fics you posted because they were left open to interpretation so both shippers and non-shippers can enjoy them.

Well as thanks for commenting on two of my blog posts, and for giving me a mention in this very blog post (glad I could inspire you by the way), I'm here to comment.
Overall a nice analysis, this here explores a decent amount of different angles and explains your point very well. It is a detailed look at the scene without being too wordy or constricted, and had the odd moment of above average comical charm to it.
Something I would like to add to the topic is that when Fluttershy got her cider (because Rainbow let her in line in front of her) and then Rainbow missed out on getting any herself, she did not turn round and demand cider from Fluttershy, or even ask to have some of Fluttershy's. Also, Fluttershy didn't seem very interested in the cider, and she even goes on to say that she doesn't mind about missing out on cider/the fact that apple family cannot make much of it, before Rainbow interrupts her to argue about the lack of cider, so again, Rainbow really had no reason to bring her along except for wanting her to be there.
Also, an unrelated thing I wish to ask you. How do you get your fanfics written, edited, and uploaded so quickly? A good three to four years ago and it would take me, at best, one month to write up and upload a well polished 3000-5000 word chapter. Now I write most of my work in advance before uploading a single chapter, and can manage a 3000-5000 word chapter within the time frame of one week to three weeks but still, the amount of fanfics you've managed to write up in such a short amount of time is ridiculous. Regardless on how you are able to do it, good job, and keep up the good work. Also, my next blog post 'Month of Positives: Week 3 - Pairings!' has been uploaded, and while my number 1 pairing won't come as a surprise I'm sure the post overall will be a good point for conversation. Nothing else to add so I'll say it once more, great analysis, great post, and cheerio!

Okay, that point you brought up, thank you! I never thought of it!
But that's so true! Rainbow Dash could easily have either asked Fluttershy for a taste of hers, or if she let her keep talking, Fluttershy might have offered hers! But she didn't. She didn't do any of that. You're right! She really just brought Fluttershy along for the sake of having her there! There was literally nothing in it for her! Even when they knew the line was already long, she STILL let her go in front of her.
I think that might've been where we were finally coming to see how strong their friendship is.
To answer your question....XD I kind of do the same! I try to get as much chapters written out before I post them. I try! But otherwise, I just post when I do!
