I'm just going to describe my OC now so for those who wanna know, here it is.
My OC is a mare with a slender figure, just a few inches taller then a normal mare or sometimes even a stallion. Her name is Melody Fireheart, but she likes ponies to call her Shadow, just for fun.
Her coat is white that has a shimmer of light blue in the night and strange blue symbols (you'll see why). Her mane and tale are short and always messy. They are grey and have light blue and pink "flames" (be creative and imagine it) all over them (we are still talking about the mane and the tale).
She likes to wear baggy hats that are completely covered in doodles drawn by a black marker. She also wears hipster glasses with black frames and her ears are covered in ear-rings of all colors and on her right ear, where she has a part of her ear bit off, she has rainbow thread that are filling the hole. She wears a huge metal collar around her neck that has a broken chain on the front. On her hooves there are metal cuffs, similar to her collar.
Her cutie mark is a broken heart that has some strange, blue writing over it and the writing is written by a black quill. The heart represents her talent to break a person just by using her words, but the blue writing represents her ability to lie, cause it covers up the broken heart. And the quill just shows her talent to write.
She has huge white dragon wings that are much stronger and faster then normal Pegasus wings, but she prefers running (which is really strange considering how big her wings are).
She is also a Mage (that is why she has blue symbols on her coat). Just because she's a Pegasus doesn't mean she can't try to use magic. She has been studying under Luna's and (for a short time) Discords wing (Chaos magic is a much more powerful magic that can be used by anyone who trains well enough to accomplish it. Celestia never approved of this and she never really liked Melody even though she is her sisters student).
She works as a writer and travels Equestria for inspiration, but she still has a house in Ponyville. One day she will have to take Luna's place on the throne side by side with Celestias' student Twilight Sparkle. She never wanted to be a princess and she does her best not to act like one.
She is quiet at first and looks like a pony you want to avoid, but when you get to know her she is fun and somewhat insane (blame it on Discord, and I mean literally insane, like go to a nuthouse and chaos insane). Likes music and is a great singer, horror movie and books and mostly drawing and writing. She doesn't have any close friends, she does not want them, but she still hangs out with two mares just to get the feeling that she isn't alone.
She is often looks depressed and you think that her dream would be to get revenge on her murdered parents or something. But her life goal is to write a story that would make ponies giggle smile, laugh and yet realize the pain, suffering and saddens.
She will never say it but she has a crush on Discord and she doesn't care about the age deference and only sometimes, very really spends time with Fluttershy who she met when they were young in the Everfree forest (Flutters is possibly Melodies only friend).
When she becomes a princess her tittle will be "Princess Melody Shadow Fireheart- the Princess of the Dreams and Fears" (Twilight will be ruling the Sun and the Moon, while Melody controls ponies Dreams and Fears).
Her pet is a black cat called Cheasher. In the day his right eye is red and the left yellow, while at night the right eye is purple and the left eye is green. He is very special cause he can talk and has a part of Melodies personality inside if him so they are forever bound together (this is also the work of Discord).
