This is an idea that I've had in my head for a while and it finally coalesced (or congealed maybe) while I've been trying to break through the block I've been stuck with on the last scene of chapter 4 of Informal Study. It's going to be listed as a one-shot for now (in case I don't end up expanding the story), but as soon as Informal Study is done and over with, I will probably pick this one up and run with it. I've been wanting to do something with Vinyl and Octavia since my old TaviScratch story is getting old and kind of worn around the edges.

Yes, yes it is.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's made the connection of Shining and Vinyl having very similar colors (and there are a couple of Shining is secretly Vinyl or vise-versa fics), but I don't think anyone has done a simple case of mistaken identity yet.
HUH. Well, that was unexpected. That's certainly a new ship for me. Interesting...
