    Three Years

    Well.

It's been just over three years since I joined this horrible, disgusting fine, wonderful community, and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Merry belated Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of you who enjoy my stories, slow as their updates may be. I am eternally grateful to all of you.

Here's to another three years, and many more after that.

    Taking a Break

Heads up everyone. From Saturday the 14th to Wednesday the 25th, I'm going to be away on a holiday. I'll be going on a cruise around the Pacific, so naturally my internet access will be limited.

I'll still do my best to work on updates, however, which I can hopefully post when I get back.

    Take care everybody.

The Equestrian Survival Guide: Player Character Sheets

As you may have figured out from the first two chapters of The Equestrian Survival Guide, a lot of the story will be focusing on both The Lone Wanderer and The Courier, as they search for a way to fix the Transportalponder and reunite with Boone and Moira. Considering this, I'd say it's a good idea to get to know them both a bit better, wouldn't you? Have some character sheets.

The Equestrian Survival Guide: Player Character Sheets · 10:15am Feb 2nd, 2014

As you may have figured out from the first two chapters of The Equestrian Survival Guide, a lot of the story will be focusing on both The Lone Wanderer and The Courier, as they search for a way to fix the Transportalponder and reunite with Boone and Moira. Considering this, I'd say it's a good idea to get to know them both a bit better, wouldn't you? Have some character sheets.

The Lone Wanderer

Name: Christina Mills
Age: 23
Alliances: East Coast Brotherhood of Steel, Megaton
Karma: Very Good

Strength: 6
Perception: 7
Endurance: 6
Charisma: 5
Intelligence: 10
Agility: 7

Favourite Weapons

Favourite Armour
Armored Vault 101 jumpsuit

Raised by her father for nearly the first twenty years of her life, Christina initially had trouble adapting to the harsh world of the Capital Wasteland. Despite being extremely booksmart and intelligent (a trait inherited from her father), she knew little in the way of survival, and could have been considered naive. An idealistic young woman, Christina truly believed that the Capital Wasteland could be made a better place, free of the brutal reality of post-apocalyptic life, and followed her father's dream of completing Project Purity in an attempt to do so.

She is a kind soul, willing to solve disputes diplomatically whenever possible. However, she is no slouch with a gun either, in part thanks to her self-tutoring during her childhood, using radroaches in the Vault as target practice. Despite this, she can be easily angered, and has a tendency to flare up quickly whenever she feels that either her or her father have been insulted. Though she is no longer able to live in the Vault, she considers the quaint town of Megaton her true home, and is best friends with the local shopkeeper, Moira Brown.

The Courier

Name: Unknown
Age: 29
Alliances: New California Republic
Karma: Good

Strength: 7
Perception: 8
Endurance: 5
Charisma: 6
Intelligence: 10
Agility: 5
Luck: 10

Tag Skills

Top Perks

Favourite Weapons
Ranger Sequoia

A Light Shining in Darkness

Favourite Armor
NCR Duster

Not much is known about this man, known only as "The Courier", before the events surrounding New Vegas and the Second Battle of Hoover Dam. He rarely divulges personal information, even around his closest friends and allies. All that is known of him is that he fights alongside the NCR, though refuses to officially join their military, instead referring to himself as a "consulting operative"; someone to solve problems that the NCR's military cannot. Originally a package courier, as his title suggests, he has done little delivering since his close call with death in the town of Goodsprings.

The Courier is exceptionally skilled, both in body and mind. He is one of the best shots in the Mojave, and is considerably intelligent despite his rough exterior. He compliments these skills with a jovial personality, often cracking jokes or making witty observations in order to ease the stress of a taxing situation. However, it is obvious that this bravado is a shield to mask The Courier's insecurities, specifically his past. Whenever questioned about his name, or anything concerning his life before he came to the Mojave Wasteland, he quickly deflects it with a witty remark, or a stern warning to back off. He is overall a good, just man, but can sometimes resort to more violent solutions if a diplomatic one fails to present itself.

Also deeply infatuated with Rose of Sharon Cassidy, though he refuses to admit this to anyone. Anybody is liable to lose a few teeth if they decide to question him about this.

So there you have it, an introduction to our wasteland heroes. Expect to see more of them, as well as Moira and Boone's adventures in the Crystal Empire, soon. Thanks to all who read the story!

Well, now I can put a face to your characters. Nice development though.

Hmm, I see this stuff all the time. Now it feels like I gotta do this now.
