You know what I call a great wake-up call on a Saturday morning? PINKY PIE!!
The newest episode, Pinkie Pride, the one soo many people have been dying to see has been leaked to the public, and it actually got to me! That never happens! So, it's opinion time!
*sips coffee*
This episode. Fucking rocked. Let's just go over the many factors that made this episode stand out so much from the rest of the season.
First of all, keep in mind that I am a Pinkie Pie fanatic. She's been my favorite since the beginning, and this episode just made me want to reach through the screen and hug the life out of her. Not many cartoons have made me "d'aaw" quite like this one.
But you know what, before I get too much into the great things about the episode, let's take a look at the grade A douchebags her friends have proven they can be! Like holy shit! A stranger comes into town and at the drop of a hat, everyone in the whole fucking town just abandons her! Here are a couple lines that really got to me:
"I mean, Pinkie Pie's parties are fun, buut..."
Rainbow Dash, fuck you, she's RIGHT THERE! You just compared your best friend's only true talent, the one that defines her very persona, TO A COMPLETE STRANGER! AND SHE'S RIGHT THERE! And when you turn around, there she is about to start bawling her eyes out, and you just up and leave her! Right after she drank her tears to make you feel better!
But here's my favorite: "Wow we're so lucky to have you!"
I seriously wish I was in front of a camera right now, because I'd really like all of you to see my incomprehensible rage fit. Twilight... what exactly have you been learning about friendship all this time, because I fucking know that that level of insult was never included in any of your moral lessons. We're so lucky to have you?! What exactly is that supposed to mean??! Were you really not looking forward to Pinkie's party at all?! Have you been faking it the whole time just to make her feel accepted, but now that a "real" party planner shows up, Rainbow's birthiversarry is fuckin SAVED!?? Oh Hallelujah! Thank God you came along, I don't know if I could've stood another party thrown by Pinkie Pie! We are just so lucky you came along to save us from that dump of a party that would have been!

And then, the apology, oh sweet mother of GOD, the apology! A whole episode of grieving, shame and identity crisis you put Pinkie Pie through, and the best thing you've got is sorry!? What was Applejack's excuse? "I don't know what got to me!"? I know what got to you, Applejack, a barrel to much of your apple cider and a degree in Grade-A Douchbaggery! Shut up, all of you, and DO SOMETHING FOR PINKIE PIE INSTEAD OF GIVING HER LAME EXCUSES FOR BEING OUTRIGHT CUNTS! She drank her fucking tears, that's how much pain you put her through!
And fuck you, Cheese! If you idolized her from the beginning, you should have at least told her instead of completely and totally shutting her out and stealing her friends! You acted like she didn't exist! That would be like Rainbow Dash showing up at the Wonderbolts and claiming she's the best flight captain and outright ignoring Spitfire! You'd better give her more than just a rubber chicken, you dickwad! You're lucky she's so naive and optimistic, or else she'd have cut you and left you and your whackass chicken bleeding in a ditch for your lame ass sob story/ pathetic apology!
*deep sigh*
Ok, so I got all my butthurt out of the way, now for why this episode made me so happy. For the first time, Pinkie Pie seems a lot more mature and much better at dealing with, assessing, and overcoming her emotions. She seemed like such a believable character to me, and maybe that's because the main feeling she was dealing with is extremely relatable to me. So, now that she's not only goofy, random and hyper, but also mature, selfless and super sweet, my adoration for the pink pony has escalated marginally. While my respect for the others went down, my respect for Pinks went up, and I really did feel like hugging her throughout the entire episode.
The songs were spectacular. Nuff said about that.
I loved the goof-off, but was a tad bit disappointed in Pinkie for not quite being able to top Cheese's randomaucity. She hardly tried, except for the whole singing in Spanish bit, which I just loved.
Oh, and then the reality scenes. Oh my God, yes!! The number one thing a cartoon can do to destroy the fourth wall! It's like they gave the episode to Pinkie and Cheese to do whatever they wanted with it, and they totally obliterated every rule! I loved it!
I swear, as soon as that rubber chicken started dancing on the screen, I thought I was watching Chowder. That's a technique that I absolutely adore in cartoons!
The one thing I hope never, ever to see on this website is a Pinke Cheese shipping... I know it's gonna happen, but maybe if a hope hard enough, it won't. C'mon, everyhuman, bow down your heads and take this moment to hope. Hope like you've never hoped before. Out of all the crazy things people have done to the show on this website, the one thing it doesn't need is this one ship. This ship is forbidden. The first Cheese Pie shipping I see, I'm going to track down the author and paralyze his or her entire family so that they'll have to live the rest or their lives wheeling their relatives around and feeding them. And then I'm gonna burn their house down.

HI InkTapper. I saw the episode and then when I come to check out what you blogged about, I was like "Oh, I wonder what he thought about it." All I can say is that you made me LOL. But I agree with you on how Pinkie suppose friends went and treated her through out this episode, it was down right messed up

Well at least Pinkie's friends and Cheese Sandwich apologized. At least they actually took the time to admit they got carried away. Where was that in "The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well"?! Nowhere, Rainbow Dash's friends never apologized for turning her reputation to trash just to teach her a lesson.
Pinkie Pie was in the right all along and never should've had to apologize for anything. It's not her fault her friends are a bunch of idiots that have no common sense. And people say Pinkie Pie is the idiot of the bunch.
Still this episode is great, a new instant classic. And there were a few morals present. One: Never let your pride get in the way of making others happy. You don't always have to prove a point. Two: Don't just ditch your friends when someone new shows up. If you care about your friends then you should appreciate it when they do nice things for you. Three: Just because life may seem rough doesn't mean you should get downhearted. If you have a positive attitude then nothing can stop you.
