1778684 Chrom will probably be included if any, but I would love to see Lucina make it in. With all her similarities to Luna (blue hair, royal, the name LuCIna - CI = Luna), she and Lucario would cement themselves as my mains for this game's entire life span.

1778776 Completely agree. I'd take Lucina over Chrom, it would also allow more female characters. Theres also a big rumour that a Persona character may make it into the game.

1778776 I just hope the rumors I've been hearing about Dark Samus also being in this game as an actual character are false, because if she is included, and her Final Smash is either summoning a Leviathan or summoning Phaaze itself, she'd be way too overpowered. Because either of those moves would keep what she summoned around for the rest of the match, making her able to win by default as everyone else takes damage from Phazon corruption.
It doesn't surprise me that Lucario is still around, really. But I AM surprised about Rosalina and Luma being playable characters
It would be surprising if they brought back Mewtwo somehow
I take it this is the new Smash Bros. game? I hope they kept Snake; he's my favorite to play as. (Lucario is #4)

Actually, if Dark Samus was included, they could make her Final Smash something different than Phaaze or a Leviathan... Maybe her turning into the final form of Metroid Prime from the first Prime game and summoning Metroids to pester everybody for a bit. Then end with a large phazon explosion as she turns back.(probably not this one, cause it'd be too powerful) They could also make it the Phazon tackle from Prime 2 or have her summon the Dark Echos from Prime 3 during the boss fight with her on Phaaze.

I hope they have Ganondorf from the way he was in Melee cause the way they changed him in brawl made him almost unplayable, he was way to slow and have no mobility. favorites Ganondof from melee 1, Lucario 2, Sonic 3, Star Wolf 4.
1779376 Nah, we're all old enough to know who the Yellow Devil is. It's just hard to take much notice of him when the picture he's in features Lucario seemingly blocking his fist with nothing but his left foot... in midair... while also blocking Mega Man's punch with just the tip of his paw... and dodging Mario's jump kick... all while bringing his paws together to charge up and send the two of them back to 8-bit kingdom come with an Aura Sphere.

1780138 Anything but Ridley! Because the rumors I've heard about the plans to include him instead of Dark Samus indicate that if anything, he'd be even more broken, because he could just hover in the background, where he could blast players, but they couldn't do anything to him!

Nah, Ridley would make more sense, considering he's been at least mentioned in most Metroid games in one fashion or another... either as a scan or as an actual boss. But, due to his size compared to Samus, it would end up being very hard to do, all things considered... He'd end up taking too much room on the stage, seeing that he's bigger than Bowser and Donkey Kong, and those are the largest characters in game a person could play as (not including Giga Bowser or the Giant characters).
Dark Samus would be much more manageable as far as size goes, and she's already got plenty of moves she could use for a Smash Bros. game, even several that could count as a Final Smash with very little retooling. My personal fave idea for her would be for DS to summon the Dark Echoes like she did in Prime 3 and use them for a combo attack. Only unfortunate thing as far as that is concerned is that I didn't like her redesign in Prime 3... The Prime 2 look was so much more menacing, because it was so much more like Samus' Phazon Suit from Prime 1 and inspired a more true horror whenever I fought her, because it was as close to fighting herself as Samus was going to get til the SA-X in Fusion.
