Chapter 12: "Brad, Toil, Tears, and Sweat"
To begin, I would like to pause for a moment of silence in honor of the total hawtness that appeared in today's episode.
Crickets.
Now that that's over with, I'd also like to admit that there's no new cover art to accompany chapter 12, mostly because a fellow by the name of Bitbrony sent me a link to the image you see above, which comes from a guy who calls himself PicoBox. I so, so want to make that the permanent cover art of The Mixed-Up Life of Brad, but it seems that PicoBox only speaks Japanese, so I can't ask him. I suppose, since it's a picture of characters copyrighted to someone else, I wouldn't be utterly out of line to just steal it, but that would kind of make me a jerk.
So . . . anyone know how to ask PicoBox for permission? I really want that picture. It's everything Life of Brad is meant to be: passionate, absurd, and kind of gross. It's even got the more realistic horse anatomy. Admittedly, Twilight and Brad have been apart for a few chapters, but they'll be back together soon, and then things will get awkward and uncomfortable. Like that picture.
Man, I want that picture.
Wow, I was expecting an explosion or six from you when Flash actually cameo'd in today's episode, but you're pretty calm.

Funny thing, when I saw that same picture on Derpibooru, it reminded me of this fic and apparently someone else, so I gave him a link to your story. Crazy minds think alike.
This is just too perfect, it's like he made it just for you.
Did you catch this episode's stinger? Damn, Cadence is a badass. She skinned a bear as a foal. I think the Crystal Empire would be just fine in the event of a civil war.
Also, Baby!Cadence is adorable.
Time to backup this blog post before the Deej decides that it constitutes gross indecency and deletes it. Again.

*Tsk* I've only deleted two blog posts for that, that I recall. One I deleted as soon as I put it up, and the other I deleted at a reader's request rather than by my own decision.

I suppose I simply want to say that I have a human Flash Sentry and pony Twilight Sparkle story for which I would like to use his picture for cover art, with full credit given, and would like to ask his permission. I suppose you could include a link for courtesy's sake, though he presumably couldn't read the story if he followed it.

Seeing as how in all Japanese schools English is taught as a mandatory subject, and that many study it afterwards because it's so important in business, I wouldn't be surprised if they could.

Well I sent it. Luckily, as Japan and Australia have very similar timezones it shouldn't take all that long for a reply.
If you can't reach him, as an author I would use it but put a very obvious link back to him on the story description, one not necessary to click on 'see more' for.
If he finds it, he'll see that it's attributed and getting him clicks, and in all honesty, with your story, he'll notice with the influx of traffic and be happy.
