OH. MY. CELESTIA. · 3:42pm May 9th, 2012
A hundred and fifty thousand chapter views on Not My Destiny. (Disclaimer: Just over twelve thousand actual people. But who cares. 150K!!!)
Thank you. Thank you so much, every single one of you. I love you all.

(P.S.: Firefox suggests that my weird nick, which dates back to the 80's and Real Life, should be spell-corrected to "Maydays." Well, I suppose, if there's one thing I know I can write, it's a shipwreck... le grin
congrats...
107118 Wow, that was quick. Thanks
Ooooo, you fancy huh
Congrats on that
(P.S. )
You forgot the closing parenthesis on your "P.S.".
Also great work on the 12 thousand unique hits, though 150K does sound far more outstanding.
Now time to write a shipwreck.

*EXPLOSION* x10000000000 congrats.
Congratulations!
Now, when will we get to see your take on Twilestia?
congrats form Passionate Heart!
Congrats. You deserve it.
I hated your fic. But in a way I hate the game Amnesia.
That means I love it and I hate it because I love it but I still love it more than hate it because it's well done. And that makes me hate and love it more.
Awesome! Congrats! This was one of the best fics I had the pleasure to read!
Is it weird that I always liked the Grimdark ending better than the 'canon' ending? It's just fun to try to imagine how Celestia and Twilight would be viewed in whatever civilization pops up when life returns in a million some-odd years. Would they sequester themselves away from a newly-formed society of quadruped canines? If they were discovered, they'd first be viewed merely as members of an undiscovered species, but a few centuries of sightings later, they might start to realize those two odd creatures are immortal. Wouldn't THAT be a shocker to these people, who would likely have thought the concept of immortality to be a fanciful myth, since the only two immortal beings on the planet have been avoiding them. Then they'd take the obvious next step of worshipping these two-of-a-kind immortal entities as gods, and I can't imagine Celestia and Twilight would like that very much. So on and so forth. And after what happened before, now KNOWING the Nightmare's plan and having at least a better idea of what it is than before, would they spend their millions of years actually trying to come up with a way to defeat it the next time it comes along, since it outright TOLD them it'd be coming back? ... I've thought about this a lot. :\ That ending may be grimdark, but it's fun to imagine what would happen next.
ANYWAYS, YEAH. Grats on all the views.
Nice work, Smayds. This fic was by far one of my favorites and I'm following it's sequel faithfully (still hoping you don't go all dark and evil throughout the entirety of the second half, but I'll read regardless!)!. Keep up the great work, Smayds!
