A bit bummed now · 11:22am Jan 16th, 2014
Hello everyone, your completely bummed author here with a bit of news. I'm going on a bit of a hiatus for an undetermined period of time. The reason behind this is the following; I tried submitting my story to Twilight's Library for approval in their archives. Needless to say, it was rejected, and although the reason behind it wasn't harsh (just a lack of editing and awkward characterization in the beginning, along with some lacking motives), it was quite the blow to my pride as an author. I mean, I know those of you who favorited the story like it, and I'm eternally grateful that I have my readers, but if I were to try to write anything right now with that rejection in my mind, it would not turn out to be anything worth your time. So I need some time to clear my head, maybe talk to a few friends and find some editors/prereaders. I'll be back before you know it, hopefully I won't disappear for months at a time again. I'm sorry for disappointing you and for delivering work that is not up to the quality I thought it was, I hope you all can forgive me.

You didn't even have to ask for our forgiveness. I hope your hiatus is exactly what you need. You really shouldn't think that we didn't like your quality of work. Granted, it's not professional grade, but you would need a good amount of serious editors who do it for a living and have some serious skill. Not to say that yours aren't talented, just that there is a totally different level... And I'm off topic... dang... Anyway, try not to be too discouraged, but, that said, take all the time you need, and we will welcome you back with open arms and friendly smiles.

No forgiveness is forthcoming from me... because there is nothing here that needs to be forgiven in my not-so-humble opinion; believe me, i fully understand having blows to your ego hit you like a ton of bricks. Hopefully your hiatus will be both temporary and give you the time you need to get everything back in order as i eagerly await the continuation of your story.
