Greetings! I have a proposition for you!
So, as you may know, I have this universe called the Darkverse. If you've read After Dark, then you know what it's about. Basically, a strange ethereal being torments ponies in their dreams, exploiting their deepest fears to get them scared. Why and how will be covered in Pitch Dark, so don't worry about that. The time will come soon enough.
Here's my proposition:
if you would like to write a story for the Darkverse, PM me the pony, what fear they will be facing, and how this fear is represented in their dream.
There are a few ground rules, however:
- this might be a horror fic, but it's not a gorefic. No excessive gore or excessive sexual content. That means no clop.
- there are a few ponies you can't take. Those are the Mane 6 and Lyra. Any other canon character should be okay, but PM me to make sure.
- I'll be letting you take the creative reigns on it, but that doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. I need a plot synopsis so I can look it over and make sure it doesn't interfere with any existing Darkverse canon.
- if I ask you to change something, just do it. I won't make you change something because I don't like it. I'll only ask you to change something if it doesn't tie in with the rest of the Darkverse or doesn't follow any of these rules.

A few basic ideas surrounding the Darkverse:
- all of these encounters take place in dreams. The protagonist needs to wake up at the end.
- the protagonist cannot die in the dream.
- the protagonist does not know it's a dream until he/she wakes up.
- all of the protagonists are tormented by one being, who has no name yet. You may refer to it as Thingit in your synopsis, but not in the actual story itself. Its name does not come until Pitch Dark.
- the only genre these can be is [Dark]. That means no romance, no adventure, no crossover... only dark.

I noticed that there is no Group for the Darkverse. Maybe one should be made, if others decide to make their own Darkverse fics.
1713926 One: I think it's a good one. It's one of the works I'm most proud of, as well as my first attempt at horror writing.
Two: I don't think the universe is large enough to warrant a group yet, but we'll see.

Have you added this fic to various groups? Also, has it been promoted within various groups?
And to get the word out more, you could add the fic to the Review Group. I am certain that Crome will wanna review it.
(I'm gonna see what can be done to boost the viewage of reviews, through promotions, and maybe reviewers can add the reviews to blogs as well. I intend to)
