Questions about Equestrian Timeline

Hey everyone,
Real fast, since am actively writing and am trying to plan stuff better. I have a couple questions;
1) What were the months called? I tried looking it up and can't find anything. I know they have like Nightmare Night (Halloween), Hearts and Hooves Day (Valentine's Day), etc, but I don't see actual month names on a calendar. Granted, never saw a calendar either.

I honestly can't remember, but if I were to update a published chapter, would it delete the original date published or not even show the updated chapter?

Well it's a bit early for me, considering its not even noon where I live. But just in case I forget to blog, which I'm prone to do... I just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Years and hope 2014 is gonna be a good year.

A lot of things happened last year, boy was that weird to say. Looking back on it, made some really good friends, had quite a few self searching moments and started a story that I'm very proud of. Had some really bad moments, some good suicidal times, but hopefully we can get past those and start the new year afresh!
