Hello my readers, a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all! This shouldn't be a terribly long blog post, but I've a got a great announcement, and I simply couldn't contain my excitement, so here it is: as a Christmas present to you all, I have a release date for not one, not two, not three, but FOUR chapters for "Batmare Begins"!!! I've been working on these puppies for months, and finally, after a long writing and editing process, I am on the brink of releasing them. I've really put myself into each and every one of these chapters, and I truly hope they don't disappoint you. I want to thank each and every one of you for being so patient with my slow writing, and I also want to assure you that, Lord willing, the next update should certainly not take as long as this one did. But when you see what I've put together, I think you will understand just why it's taken me so long; this is a pretty darn big body of work with a lot of important updates to the story itself, and it wouldn't have felt right not releasing it all at once.
So here's how it's going to work: no earlier than December 28th, and no later than December 30th, I will be releasing one chapter each day for four days in a row. I would release it this week whenever I finish up with editing, but unfortunately I'm going to be quite busy for this week and next week with a number of family and holiday related activities, especially a trip that my mom, sister, and I are taking to Wisconsin this weekend to watch the Green Bay Packers game at Lambeau Field itself! (which I am SUPER PUMPED for, let me tell you!!!) Crazy time of the year for everyone, you know? The good news is, however, I and my editors now have more time to thoroughly look over everything, so by the time the chapters do release, I guarantee you'll all get the most polished final product I can possibly offer! As a special bonus, there may even be new cover art by the time the chapters release, courtesy of a good friend of mine on MLP Forums. Well, that about does it for this blog; thank you all again so much for your patience and support. It really means a lot to me, and let me tell you, your enjoyment of my writing is one of the few things that kept me devoted to this project all these months. Things could certainly be frustrating at times when there was no end to the writing for the next update in sight, but now, here we are, on the brink of a very, very, very big update to my fic, and I hope that it does not disappoint!
